Correction: Wood release have been shown on a higher scale, but Shikotsumyaku hasn't. I don't think it means it's much stronger, but we are entitled to our own opinions

dont get me wrong.
im more partial to the shikotsumyaku than mokuton.
but having an infinite amount of wood protecting and fighting for you sounds like it has more advantages than using your own bones.

You're right, but that depends on how much chakra both users have for either Shikotsumyaku or Mokuton. Now base on Kimimaro's character, with his chakra he was able to expand his bone mass that equivalent to a forest..

Opps, I got confused between Shikoutsumyaku and Tomogarashi no Haikotsu.

By this Mokuton is more efficient than Shikoutsumyaku with multitude of techniques it have.

o-o Pretty anyone besides Yamato and Hashirama, can't use mokuton in that good of a way. I mean just look at Madara, he only did some techniques Hashirama did, and thats it.
