[Discussion] Didn't the Soul King have arms?

When they first teased the soul king, the silhouette showed him having arms.

But in the latest chapter, he was shown without them.

The shape his eyes make is also different.

What are your thoughts on this?

Maybe that's why Aizen and Bach wanted to kill him. Aizen was angry at the fact that the Soul King was a "thing"

maybe this is not the real soul king, but some kind of decoy. i just can't believe an entity that can see the future, would just sit there and let his forces be decimated and then let himself be killed. that seems like utter stupidity. there has to be more to him, considering how powerful his so called son is.
