Dude Akainu was in no way equal to WB. You are talking about an admiral who in the pink of his health getting trounced and sent to the abyss by a sick injured and dying WB, and who then crawled out like a little sissy after WB was killed by BB and his crew. Stop overrating akainu.

OT: Prime Rayleigh would have won this fight, mid diff. When Ray fought Kizaru his talks implied that in his prime he could handle an admiral with a yawn and do other things.

That's true, Rayleigh is super maneuverable from what we've seen, but Whitebeard's no slowpoke either.

Akainu had a Logia defense on top of his natural durability. Rayleigh doesn't seem to have a DF, so he'd be taking the full brunt of the quake punch with his own body.

Not body. He has a sword coated with Haki. Also Ray's Haki is far superior to anything, Akainu can muster. Also Ray has the Kings Haki, which we know nothing about.

I don't know. I personally don't see any non-logia Haki master (for now, anyway) surviving that type of attack. We'll have to see more of Rayleigh.

I don't think Whitebeard had a superrior Haki at that time. Beacause if he had then he would have used it. Luffy made Half the marines faint by using his Haki, Shanks made coby fall with his Haki. There were a lot of fodders that could have fallen had Whitebeard used his haki.

But I guess you have your own opinion.

Wb never stomped akainu, if anything the fight in both occasions was high diff, WB beating akainu was not a completely "fair" fight, Akainu got hit from behind while getting held on by marco, he got hit off guard in the first quake even after that Akainu was able to take half of WB's head, Akainu was mostly the reason WB died.

Prime Rayleigh stomping Akainu is the most laughable fanfic ive heard in a while.

There are plenty of times where a strong guy was caught off guard while fighting someone else, having COO doesnt mean u can dodge any attack around, Aokiji,Jozu,Doflamingo,Marco were just some of the people who got hit off guard during marineford, COO doesnt always help u dodge attacks if ur not focused in another enemy that's coming from behind.

The first time, WB wasn't even giving him the time of his day, prove of that is that when he actually did, 2 hits were enough and considering Whitebeard was half dead when Akainu was full strength and that in his half dead state, 2 hits were enough to incapacitate Akainu, it pretty much says it all concerning the difference in strength between them with Whitebeard at full strength.

Also, i wasn't serious with the stomp thing. It was just to say that Rayleigh is stronger than Akainu by a decent margin
