Is Naruto's hair better or what?

I think Naruto change His hair style so as not to be compared to His father Minato,His old hair style was like His father. Sort of like Konohanoeu insisted in being call by His name and not the Honorable Grandson of the Hokage. They each want to establish their own Name and not be seen as the son or grandson of a Hokage.
