This is the first part in a multi-part series to decide who the narutobase thinks are the top 100 rock songs of all time.
I'm collecting nominee's for one final GIGANTIC poll. Here's how its gonna work. I am going to post 10 times over the next week (at all hours of the day, 1:00AM Eastern US time for example) to get people to name bands to go on the list. You can list several as this is not the actual vote yet.
Here is the contest and rules:

Welcome Narutobase! We're finding out what you all think is the BEST ROCK SONG OF ALL TIME. If you had to name ONE SONG that you find is the BEST rock song of all time, go ahead and submit it for nomination. The song should not just be a good song, or a niche song that satiates one color of the rock pallet. This song should embody everything that you feel is great about rock.
Your selections should be songs that you would consider iconic. Songs that defined a generation. They should be smartly written, evoke a strong sense of emotion, and just be "all around" the best rock song of all time.
Chances are, the upper echelon of the list will be classic rock songs. Songs from the 50's through the 90's. However they don't have to be.
As a matter of fact, they don't have to be heavy rock even. They DO have to somewhat resemble the essence of rock however. No submitting darude sandstorm, or some other completely different genre. But if you want to blur the lines a bit (and no, blurred lines is not acceptable either) feel free.
The spirit of the competitions should be: If someone 20 years from now asked you "What is the greatest rock song of all time?" What would you tell them?

Thats the rules. We're going to have everyone vote (I'm still deciding how I want to limit the votes, Maybe make multiple polls so you can vote on a view different songs), and based on which songs get the most votes, and which ones get the least, we're going to fill up a list of 100 Rock songs.
Narutobase has been the home of MANY huge threads that really showed off what a great community it CAN be. I've ALSO seen really well thought out threads get completely ignored.
So thats why I will also be posting to multiple forum sections. Not to be spammy, i just want everyone's voice to be heard.
The next thread will be put out sometime tomorrow evening. you have several chances to submit a nominee for best rock song.
I'll get the list started: I would consider some of the best songs of all time (these are going to be no surprise, but just to show what we're looking for) to be:
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
Paranoid Android by Radiohead
Welcome to the Jungle by Guns and Roses.
Now its your turn. Post any song that you find to be the BEST ROCK SONG OF ALL TIME. I do not mind multiposts, but the mods might, so post responsibly.
This will either be the best thread series of 2015, or completely fail and get 2 replies, and thats completely up to YOU.
