That doesn't prove Toshiro and Matsumoto are alive. For all we know, Mayuri could have just left them there since he was busy with other stuff. He only took those two captains because he had control over them. Why not bring them with you when they are in your hands?

Yes. On the BLEACH Wiki there was some dissonance. His name in Japanese implies that he is a boy, but looks so much like a girl. If you were to take a look at the page history and talk page you'd see what I'm talking about.

Hirako Shinji is alive and well, and with Urahara. Couldn't be more happier personally, most of the Captains are dispersed and I'm guessing those Sternritter lost their powers. Juha Bach is officially the dumpster baby of the Soul King and caught feels and is now seeking to take his place cause he thinks he is inferior. Possibly because he can't take action and is just a future predicting being in a crystal. My man Ichibei is still delirious from that beating, he doesn't know the SQUAD is coming. We waited so long for such a slow chapter but it was somewhat informative. Apparently Yoruichis sister was a boy too.. I don't know who the two shadows were, could possibly be Shunsui and Aizen but I doubt Aizen still uses Shunpo, he'd be teleporting by the second. Anyway 4/5 is my personal rating.

It was a ok chapter, it was a little slow but Kubo is sick so I am not to upset about it.

Please let Toshiro and Rangiku be alive Kubo, they can't die like this, it would be such a waste. I hope Kubo has something else in mind for them, that is why he has not said if they are dead or not.

This chapter was pretty good despite it being quite short. It pretty much gave us an update of every division, except for the 10th division since Toshiro and Rangiku are both dead.

Toshiro was indeed turned into a zombie when he was alive. However, he died after the process of zombification due to an unknown reason, as conveyed when Mayuri stated "Must mean you were turned into a zombie before you were dead." [
