One thing I don't understand about the Naruto Anime..

Why are they still making fillers if the manga is over? Aren't filers usually made for substance so that the anime doesn't catch up to the manga? But since the manga is over, why still make them? They should just be focusing on the main story now.

I called it back in early 2014 that the manga would end that year and the recently announced Naruto movie would serve as the final part of the story. Almost everyone told me how stupid that was and about how that would leave so many lose ends. Kishi don't care. Kishi wanna make bank
