He may not be able to dehydrate him since he's mechanical but I'm sure he can bisect him with sand, Crocodile was trolled but still wrecked Luffy twice. I doubt Kuma has a water hose built into him nor does he have the intelligence to find a water source to use at his advantage, he may even be susceptible to water himself being robotic. Crocodile has a strong will, Boa Hancock is not really aggressive and she turned that vice admirals crew to stone but didn't work on the Vice Admiral since he was able to withstand her attack.

Remember that time when Kuma negged all of the SHs? Much more impressive than low diffing Alabasta Luffy, especially since Luffy had no Haki or water on him for most of the fight. Also, Crocodile only managed to hit Akainu with that because Akainu was only focusing on killed Jinbe and Luffy. Kuma is one of the fastest characters in the series so far and would have no trouble dodging that in a 1 on 1 fight, and I don't think La Espada is strong enough to cut through Kuma's armor.
