[Question] Is Crocodile worthy of Shichibukai?

Crocodile was a warlord but was robbed of feats at the time of the story we didn't know what haki even was if so then luffy wouldn't have had to use water or blood to beat him. Same with ace he was also robbed of Haki feats as well because the plot didn't have haki introduced at the time

Being a Shirley hibukai requires one to have a name that can ma,e other pirates shake in their. boots so even Ussop as he is now god cld qualifyy,. Crocodile was powerful however so he was indeed worthy but he got his debut way early n we cldnt have an indefeatable villain so plot cooked up his defeat.

Another way to look at it was after Luffy beat Croc did he now view the Shichi weak or wld he still flinch at their mention.

Moria was probably the worst shichibukai coz well his power was dependent on there being many pple n corpses around him but also in a place where the sun don't shine/his victims not go sun bathing. On the infamousy meter however then yeah he was good for his post I guess before he met Luffy n Jimbe kinda handled him like a kid at a teen party at MF that is.

The problem with infamousy iscthst its more what one was capable of arcade certain juncture in time which might not b what they can do now n this was the biography for Gecko really.

Nope, none of them deserves that title if we talk about power terms, the warlords are used more about their influence and political power and not actually as strong individuals strong enough to counter very strong fighters, the sichi title got pretty much nerfed and that's why oda decided to change it making every sichi these days at least strong enough to survive in NW, removing ppl who were in croc and moria's level (except for buggy who is there for gag purposes).

Croc was introduced early so it was like how can he be soo unbeatable. His powers are still deadly if you mess up. Without the aid of water or haki there is little most people can do against him. If you have water or haki and are at least as fast as he is then you can win (maybe).
