1) Been more aggressive like Kakashi and fight Pain head on.Tsunade was stronger than Kakashi that time so she could have taken out a few Paths of Pain but she remained hidden like a coward talking tough sweating when Deva Path simply looked at her resulting in half of the population being slaughtered

2)If Hiruzen or Minato or even Jiraiya had been the Hokage the village wouldn't have been destroyed

We'll she was doing pretty good damage control until she ignored the anbu nin's suggestion and tried Pain's patience. We can't forget that Kishi kind of nerfed her chakra pool in the pain arc.

She:
Mass Healed
Put out an Emergency call
Consulted the Elders
Attempted to rally Naruto back to konoha.

It's just that further endangering the lives of villagers by talking shit to pain kind of made her previous accomplishments worthless..

Not to mention Tsunade's arsenal and fighting technique isn't as flexible as Kakashi. Outside of probably wrecking the machina path for him, all she could do was get shinra tensei'd and heal.

Other than Asuma(who died) I don't think any of the sensei were more readily adequate enough to fight Deva Pain.

You could say Gai, but unless he went 7th gate and Kakashi made an opening, he wasn't hitting him.

Hiruzen would have not done that well in my opinion unless it was Young version he was just too old
Tobirama would have done pretty well be pretty fast thinking possibly a one shot instakill

With Katsuyu out, there will be no sneak attacks.

Naruto became a village hero too early if you ask me.

Tsuande was beating herself up for letting Jiraya face him on her own. she wanted redemption of some sort.
It was foreshadowed that with intel, Jirayah woudlve won.
He even knew that she could possibly counter his technique...
But then
everything changed for Naruto to come and save the day.


Pein is like a Weaker version of Madara, so Hshirama wouldve beat him.
Tsunade is Hashirama without Mokuton, so I think the fight wouldve been fair.

I think Tsunade would be a challenge for Pain and it would be a really good battle but I think the battle would have gone to Pain. Naruto with the help of all the toads with intel was defeated. So Pain would probably beat Tsunade high-diff.

Pein is Tsunade's nightmare. She fights carelessly because of her healing abilities. Rods would immobilize her pretty quickly, she would've been overwhelmed against Pein. Even if she fought all paths one by one she would still lose. She can't defeat Deva,Asura and Animal Paths not even on 1vs1 each.
