theoretically, by focusing sage chakra around the area inside his body, Minato can FTG anywhere around that same area that has the same senjutsu in which he just absorbed

in sage mode:

• The user can manipulate the natural energy that surrounds them in this mode, turning it into an extension of their body, which increases the reach of their attacks.

this could be for a quick but deadly Sage Mode FTG finishing move
>combine that with his Chakra Mode and Minato can only be stopped by Juubi Jinchuuriki

My thoughts are, kishi half assed EDO Minato. Didn't think him through at all and had no idea what to do with him. Just like many other of his creations. Theoretically, edo Minato had so much potential to do much more. But kishi just become a horse $hit writer after the pain invasion arc. And thus, Minato was limited to only saving people over and over again.
