It might be old AF but I just realized that he planned to seal Madara while they are on earth. As seen with Kaguya the CT was moon sized which would completly cause a huge damage on earth and kill everyone nearby. :|

Yes, but the way they beat him was by extracting the bijuu. There is no reason that naruto and Sasuke couldn't have done that to Madara as well. Hell, Obito stole madara's bijuu on the brink of death without breaking a sweat.

If naruto and sasuke werent so bent on sealing him, they could have extracted the bijuu easily when sasuke cut madara in half.

Obito didn't won the chakra tug between himself and Madara. He merely stole some. Just as Hiruzen was too old to extract Orochimaru's soul and had to cut off his arms alone.

This was half dead guy resisting BZ against unharmed juubi jinchuriki with full chakra. Not the fairest of matchups. Naruto and Sasuke were significantly stronger than madara after getting their powerups, they could have extracted the bijuu all at once if they inflicted a significant enough wound, such as, for example, cutting madara in half. Which they both did.
