Could've sworn I read somewhere that he didn't give the byakugan to the new kids because it's hard to draw facial expressions with it. Either way, that comment was most likely a tongue in cheek joke. It was just an offhand remark on the red carpet, after all.

Naruto's Hokage design is rubbish. He should've stuck with his red sage mode cloak instead. He just straight up copied his dad.

tbh I think he is honoring his father this way. Minato was the Hokage for less than a year, right? Or something on those lines. He was a young guy who didn't live to his potential.

You seriously think this cover is best Naruto cover? I was expecting more for the final volume. There are way better Naruto covers, IMO. And there's no point in buying the Japanese version since you can't read the extra mini-chapters and the normal chapters (unless you're Jap or something).

What was Naruto's primary goal in the beginning of the series? To become Hokage.
Did Naruto say he wanted to have two kids during the ages of 19-24? I don't think so.

Being a Naruto fan, you want to see the Main character fulfill his dream and become the Hokage, we did not see that happen. I could give two less shits about "family stuff" when Kishimoto did not develop his characters, or live up the promises he made since the beginning. Can you read properly now? Thanks.

and yes family is part of Naruto's story, did you forgot he lost his parents, suffered a lot because of his loneliness and that's why he wanted to be recognized too? now he's no more alone that's what Kishimoto wanted since day 1 not only to gave him the job of his dreams!!!

That epilogue would've been fine IF we did actually see his inauguration ceremony in chapter 699. It ****ing sucks though. The way he ended it was horrible. Would've been better if chapter 699 was 700, then they did The Last, then had the miniseries begin with his inauguration and end with whatever the **** Boruto is going to do.

I agree one-hundred and ten percent. I wanted to see Naruto, having his inaugration in the leaf village. Flash backs of him as a child saying he would be the Hokage (during the time when everyone hated him, like the ages around 6+). Then, his accomplishments, his friends, and then maybe a short on Hinata too. THEN Tsunade coming up to kiss him on his forehead like she did in the anime, and telling him "You'll be a great okay, don't let me down."

Finally it ends with Kakashi walking up to him carrying the Hokage hat, and the scene backdrops into the entire village who is staring at both Naruto and Kakashi. Kakashi then places the hat on his head, and he finally says "Nanadaime."

Scene ends.

I swear to god though. The War arc and the Kaguya arc could've been trimmed and the latter (which was 11 chapters) could've been dropped all together. I'd rather see Naruto fulfill his dream of becoming Hokage, than Naruto and Sasuke have another boring fight, after we've moved from the Kaguya fight, the Madara fight and the Obito fight before that etc etc.

Naruto pretty much secured the Hokage position for himself in chapter 450, when everyone in the village acknowledged and thanked him for saving them from Pein. Idk about Tsuna retiring or the seat warmer and chief Kakashi being Kage. I wanted to see Noodles appointed and don the cap for the first time. Hell Danzo got at least that much and he wasn't even confirmed by the village Jonins.
