Same here! I haven't watched any episode since the Hyuga sisters special. The Chuunin filler Is receiving lots of praise though. I'll probably skip the episodes I've missed and start from the filler. ^^

I recommend you not to skip in any episode, this is one of the few fillers that truly have lots of potential to be great, when I watch this, it remind me how much a fail Kishi is as a mangaka who can't even explore the ninja world, and failed to developed every characters that deserve some attention. Plus this filler arc is doing much better than currently what happening in this shitty war arc lol.

Yep, and it's a shame too. If bolt at least had the Byakugan, we could have had hope, but since he doesn't, it's a clear middle finger to the Hyuga clan and their politics.

I remember but you see I was too busy . I will watch it I guess. Every time I watch naruto's episode that don't have neji in it o feel like I am forcing my self. I hate that stupid friendship, and naruto is so great, we must protect naruto. It makes me sick.

That's why there're fillers, to give some undeveloped characters more screen time , but what amuse me is that Tsunade is the one that triggers to this filler arc flashback all because she thought of Naruto and praises how he's a hero, but the funny thing is this filler isn't even focusing on Naruto only few glimpse of him training with Jiriaya. This Filler arc is entirely focusing on the ninja world, akatsuki, 7th tail jiinchiruke and the chuunin contestant which happens during 2 years timeskip.

Neji appeared only in the first episode for only a minute with team gai. none at second episode but definetly will happen in third episode based on the preview. Knowing Neji is a jounin, I expect him to be the victor.

With Tenseigan. His hype pretty much surpasses both Hagoromo and Kaguya's. Hamura probably awakened it after he went to the moon, so the Sage said his mother was the strongest out of ignorance.

But damn, this puts him above Hagoromo by leaps and bounds. Hagoromo couldn't even create a moon on his own nor was he the Juubi's Jin [lol @ that retcon], meaning his rennigan could not have been as powerful as Juubi Jin Madara's, which would mean his best feat with the rennigan would probably be Nagato-level

Movie. Toneri was going to destroy earth with Hamura's power at the end of the movie with that green energy ball.

In other word, rinnegan power is a joke compare to tenseigan, Hamura was born with extraordinary power that could destroy a planet and yet Hagoromo power couldn't even come close with this powerscale even despite he had burrowed power lol. Saying Hagoromo a god is nothing worth praising.

I don't believe there will be Neji vs hinata in the chuunin match because in the next episode will be the written test and it'll take 3+ episodes to reach the 2nd phase of the chuunin exam. I think based on the preview will most likely to showcase Hinata and Neji training before starting the chuunin exam.

I don't see the rematch with Hinata vs Neji again, because that would make Hinata more embarrassed and everything she went through goes to waste especially her daily training with Neji...

In all honesty, Hamura having the Tenseigan probably would allow him to low diff Hagoromo at this point, since Hagoromo would probably be at Nagato's skill/power level with the Rennigan since the 4th databook retconned him into NOT being the Juubi's jinchuriki, meaning we can't use Juubi Jin Madzi's feats w/ the rennigan for Hagoromo.
