Being friendly with tailed beasts might be what tipped things in Naruto's favor since they managed to put all nine beast parts into Naruto
I agree with you.. Damn I was thinking about this real hard.... Her ass was weak for giving birth to a child and her, including Minato didn't have enough strength to suppress Kyuubi. Thus, the splitting Kyuubi in half, Yin and Yang with the Reaper Death Seal. Minato also factor in Obito, who posse a threat to the future, so tt was only logical to seal the other half of Kyuubi into Naruto.
Maybe because minato didn't want his wife to suffer anymore, instead he trusted his one and only child in other words his successor to hold all that burden.
Minato admitted that he was selfish, y'all lack reading comprehension tbh
nah Kushina was basically impaled just like Neji, they died for the plot nothing more to say!!!
but no survival is really credible when you have some big holes all around your body, when you are taking a bath in your own blood and when your organs are obviously forever ruined :wesobi:
only Tsunade survived being cut in half and she needed Karin special blood help to recover correctly, Orochimaru is not really human anymore so he doesn't count Lol
Or rather another proof that Kishimoto is a shitty writer confirmed
Now I re-read the manga and I found something interesting:
Kushina was going to die because Kurama was extracted from her. But when Kurama's half side was extracted from Naruto, Naruto was saved by resealing Kurama's other half side into him!
Kushina originaly planned to reseal Kurama back to.... so technicaly her life could be saved by:
1.Allowing her to reseal back Kurama into her!
2.Minato sealing Kurama (or just his half part) inside Kushina instead of Naruto!
Which means Kushina could easily survive and live with Naruto even if Minato would die... but instead of it, they wanted to die a "tragic love", not carring about this tiny little fact.
Also, unlike Naruto, Kushina was even awaken, so Kushina could chain Kurama down while Minato resealing Kurama into her, saving her life so Naruto wouldn't need to grow up alone!
.... So, am I the only one who think the entire chapter 660 to 674 lost it's "dramatic feeling" or that this entire "seal Kurama's other half into Naruto will save him" technicaly made Kushina's death unnecesary?!?
She said she would reseal it and die along with it. I will check again but I think those were the words. So she was still dying at that point.
She was probably hurt otherwise too since Obito hadn't only extracted the kyuubi.. She was injured otherwise too. Right after baby's birth ...instead of getting medical care she was fighting with Kyuubi..
This guy is bang on the money.Minato was not only trying to seal away Kurama, but was also setting it up so that the beast's power could be used in the future. He didn't want to leave the village disadvantaged not with the threats he foresaw. That is why Minato sacrificed himself to purposely weakened Kurama enough that it could be sealed within Naruto using the Eight Sign Sealing, which would allow Naruto to use Kurama's power later on.
Everyone that reads the manga knows Minato is a divine overseer, and would Kushina master the ninetails as well as Naruto enough to stop the threat otherwise? I don't think so.
Nah, just accept that it's bad writing, and sets up a nice romeo/juliette scene with Minato and Kushina.
Only reason Kurama was even able to impale Kushina was Minato's fault to begin with. If Minato stepped back and did nothing, Kushina would have re-sealed Kurama and end of story, but nooo! Idiot decided to use the death god seal, which shrunk Kurama to like half in size, which in turn caused Kushina's chains that were holding the beast to become too big and therefore allow him to impale her. The whole point of the thread was that if Minato had just re-sealed Kurama into her or just let her do it, none of all this crap would have happened. The minute Minato decided to seal the beast into Kushina is the minute everything went south, idiot didn't even have the presence of mind to tell Kushina to tighten the chains when he is about to bloody shrink the damn beast.

Impossible, Kushina was already to weak from giving birth and having kurama extracted. Her only option was to die protecting her newborn baby. She was still to fragile to have kurama resealed into her, she would've died. Now I re-read the manga and I found something interesting:
