[Discussion] Is mihawk currently the strongest in the world?

Now at first I thought it was Shanks , but then I realized he has one less arm now , so that leads me to think mihawk>shanks. We know very little about kaido and big mum but if mihawk is on yonko level then its safe to assume that mihawk is stronger if not on par with them. Garp and sengoku are way old now so we can rule them out. Doesn't this mean that mihawk is currently the strongest???

imo there is no strongest charater in one piece currently to be the strongest you need to be clearly suprior to the other strong characters like being able to mid diff or slightly high diff them and there is no such a character currently so cause no top tier can mid diff any other so they can be considerd equals with that being said i think the strongest characters in one piece were prime WB (considering his old version was slightly stronger than the other top tiers ) ,roger and prime garp

Out of the character we know imo it would be shared between the strongest marine, which is Akainu, strongest Pirate, prob Shanks and the strongest revolutionary, Dragon, any of whom could potentially be beaten by some of the other top tiers like the other Yonko or Admirals, maybe even Mihawk

It would be either Shanks or Dragon. Shanks having one arm is pretty irrelevant. He had no trouble clashing with WB with one arm and I'm sure he uses CoC in battle. We just have to wait to see what CoC does in combat and then we can speculate where Shanks' strength stands. He's been depicted as being a haki beast.

Blackbeard was the only guy to significantly permanently damage shanks pre-fruit.

And Dragon is just freaking Dragon, a beast that makes the world govt. sh*t there pants.

I feel that the gap between shanks and mihawk is as big as the gap between Luffy and Zoro.

Imo shanks is the strongest pirate alive, Mihawk the strongest swordsmen (obviously), Akainu the strongest marine (possibly). I'd say that shanks is stronger than both of these guys.

OT: Mihawk is the strongest swordsman, which puts him over Shanks atm. But, if we're going by the validity of titles, then Kaido is the strongest One Piece character.
