[Discussion] Byakuya Kuchiki VS. Kenpachi Zaraki

He did i think, when he came back to from royal guard he said something about shikai bond which he had forgotten long ago, and we didn't even see senbonzakura blades when he cut down As nodt eyes, maybe he did use his shikai, his abilities must have gotten upgraded as noted by two other female sterns in the very next page.

It's too hard to tell really. I'm more inclined to believe he used Shikai though.

Both are at the same level by powerscaling. So could go either way.

Yeah that's what, he did say that his shikai got upgraded when he fought As Nodt. But it was still a neg diff lol

This can go either way, If I had to go with one, I would lean toward Zaraki.

While Byakuya defeated 3 SR easily, we don't know what they used in fight. For example, if Byakuya used his bankai (which is possible) and three SRs didn't use their Vollstandigs than Byakuya didn't really negg diff.

I'd go with Zaraki, he killed 3 Sternritter easily before second invasion and before his training. He also beat a Sternritter with a powerful shrift and destroyed a meteor with one swipe. Though I do think i'm underestimating Byakuya, so tbh right now he is somewhat featless because his new power is unknown or at least he can do with it. He shouldn't even be alive right now but oh well, fan service u_u.

I'd say Kenpachi seeing as no matter how much you hurt him, he never goes down, not to mention he destroyed a meteor with a single swipe of his Shikai.

The funny thing about this is that he did eventually go down an ichigo had to save him..an knowing how smart Byakuya is he will find away to take zaraki down even if it means sacrificeing some limbs or useing up all his energy or it may just end in a tie.
