If you don't have chakra left, can you open the Gates?

Imagine Lee having trouble fighting Neji because Lee got his Tenketsu hit by Eight Trigrams 64 Palms combo and Lee losing all of his chakra which means he is not able to use his chakra to fight any longer, but can Lee still open the Eight Gates, at least from 5th to 6th?

We already know that The Eight Gates are eight specific tenketsu on a PERSON'S Chakra Pathway System. They LIMIT the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it, however, by striking sixty-four of the tenketsu throughout the opponent's Chakra Pathway System, their chakra flow is stopped, making them unable to even stand.

This is not just about Neji, but I am talking about if anyone like Lee and Guy can use the Eight Gates be able to release it even they got they're chakra taken away?

The bold part here pretty much answers your question. In order to access the 8IG you need to be able to open up the natural limiter of the tenketsu. If thos pathways have been shut down by Jyuuken (Gentle Fist) for example, you can't access those pathways

Now unless the limiters of those pathways operate differently then to tenketsu as a whole I only see this doing damage to the pathways and causing them to backfire since the pathways have been sealed off. Where is that over abundance of chakra going to flow if the tenketsu is blocked? I see it ripping the pathways wide open and probably destroying the body in the process.

Just a theory anyhow.

Every Gates has a limit, and that limit can damage your body. However, if you don't have any chakra left to fight, then you can at least fight with Eigh Gates power. Using Eight Gates is much better even your body will be damaged after the Gates runs out.

I remember Kisame absorbed Guy's chakra but he was able to use it, AND also during the fight between Lee and Gaara, it was stated Lee couldn't move after using the 1st Gate of Opening which means he used all of his speed before his Primary Lotus. All in all, Lee did not had any chakra left to fight Gaara, but at the moment when he opened the Gates seems weird since many people thought he lost a lot of chakra using his speed.

No, I just found it on on Wikia and in Storm games. Every characters lose chakra bar when they go both instant and true awakening, however only Guy and Lee doesn't lose their chakra bars, but they only lose LP. It means The Eigh gates do not consist on chakra, it is only the limit in your body.

Anyway, my answer is yes as gates force the body to produce more chakra.

If you don't have chakra to regulate, you can't use gates. Simple as that

PS : kakashi already used the first gate to escalate a cliff with one hand, due to his chakra
