^^ PAST TENSE was used aka in PAST, which only shows that Kishi either think Hinata after Neji's death is close to him, on par with him or above him. I guess the first seems most likely and maybe in the last on par(without Hamura's power up that it)

Neji still stomps Hinata in every way possible, he's the clan prodigy and learned the main branch techniques alone while Neji taught Hinata

Neji probably was 100 times stronger then Hinata but learning under Neji she reduced the gap to 50

From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

You actually think Hinata trained alone? Did you miss the part where she begged Neji to train her in the end of part 1?
