The truth is we knew the Uchiha had been massacred. Yet we still saw more of them as the series went on. So the real question is, were they really massacred or naw? Well the manga will tell you they were. But as if you read the series as a whole, you realize that you see them more times than they were actually intended to be shown. I say the overdose of Uchiha destroyed the series than helped it. Other clans should have been focused on to keep things fresh. I hope part 3 does not focus around them.

I agree on some parts. More Uchiha that kept popping up was annoying and he should have focused more then on just Uchiha and second - Senju. Oh well. I doubt he will expand on other clans as this is just a short. :erm:
