On this thread I want you guys to relate to me based on this base and threads in general, wich shinobi you consider Overrated, Underrated, and Overlooked, respectively.
I will not count characters that are both. For example: Itachi, who fanboys think that beats Hagoromo and haters think lose to Hebi Sasuke; and Tsunade, who fanboys think is literally immortal in battle and haters who think a part 1 Kakashi can beat her.
To me personally:
Overrated: Kakashi. Look, I will be honest and starting this saying that I'm not a fan of him (no reason, just did not appeal to me) but it's not biased to say that people overrate the crap out of him. Hokage Kakashi beating a Prime Hiruzen? DMS Kakashi beating Rikudo Naruto and Rinnegan Sasuke with Bijuus? MS Kakashi beating Minato (who's Hiraishin is the best counter up today to Kamui)? Get out of here!
Underrated: Sasori. Just because of those asinine comments about how he lost to a girl and an old lady. Oh, you mean the Kage level kunoichi who knew all his secrets and was specalized on his line of work and the kunoichi who's most learned ability besides healing was learning how to dodge? And how they got a plot device that nullified Sasori's greatest asset (poison)?
Sasori is immune to any form of genjutsu and most forms of taijutsu thanks to his puppet body, and immune to shurikenjutsu, kenjutsu and lots of long ranged ninjutsu thanks to Third Kazekage's Iron Sand. He was also a genius able to create sleeper agents to spy for him and created a form of pseudo-Edo Tensei: The Human Puppet, from wich he could use a persons Kekkei Genkai after he killed them. Don't diss the Master of Puppets; you will regret it.
Overlooked: Hanzo the Modafackar Salamander. I would put him as underrated, but people don't say bad things about him; they don't say anything at all. People forget about that guy who defeated an entire sqad plus the Sannin (I don't care they were not at their prime, Jiraiya already knew Sage Mode), whom simple breath could kill people.
He was a master of shunshin and Kenjutsu, parring and beating a prime Mifune, hailed as the best swordsman of the series. He was so powerful, that Jiraiya could not imagine how could he be killed. And he was trained by the Third, trained the Fourth and knew a great bunch of other people.
So what is yours? And... I know that this plea will be ignored, but please try not bash too much any characters, k? :bye:
