Whichever bio you'd like to get up close and personal with. Sure, 'traditional' Taijutsu is best utilized with a bio that doesn't come with a host of special abilities, but I think you'll find that special biographies open up a wealth of new possibilities.

I only have one bio to use, so there's that: ( )
It might be fun to try Minato. It's rare to see Taijutsu used well in combination with his S/T techniques. Have you tried? I'd venture that it makes for a cool battle.

The Sandaime, even without the armor, is pretty terrifying in close combat, but we'll stick to freeform and relevant canon techs, unless, of course, you have access to Kaito's Tai, in which case you should definitely get used to using that. I can't overstate how useful K'Tai is; screw Tai CJs, man. They pale in comparison, if not in quality, then in sheer number.

Ah, by the way; let's make this unofficial, eh? I have a few spars in line and I'd hate to disappoint :)

Anyway, we can do this however you want to. Go for it!

I tried against Gobi, but let's leave it at that xD. I also don't have Kaito's Tai at my disposal, but we'll see how far I can go. Unofficial it is.

Minato Namikaze, the fabled Yellow Flash stands before a man, with a stoic expression on his face. His attire consisted of his usual Kage robe covering his green jacket and dark pants. Before him, a man stood. This man's appearance already alerted Minato of who he could be. The legendary Sandaime Raikage, who took on the Eight Tails alone. Not only was this man a powerhouse, but his Taijutsu prowess was well known too. Not showing any fear or surprise, Minato simply stood his ground.

He focused his eyes onto the Raikage, and simply performed a bow before him as a sign of respect. He simply waited for the man, as Minato had assumed a basic fighting stance, right foot before his left and his hands beside him.

"Sandaime Raikage..."

Well, to be perfectly honest Kaito's Tai is a humongous part of my fighting style. I can't imagine sticking to the canon Tai-attacks... they're just too lackluster in my humble opinion.
But let's see where we end up. Please, don't just stick to Taijutsu. If you're trying to implement more close-quarter aspects into your fighting style I'd recommend trying to utilize it in a complimentary fashion alongside your Ninjutsu. Fights will rarely be 'Tai only' and it's even rarer that those fights will be anything but spars.
Don't limit yourself. Being a master of Taijutsu and Ninjutsu seperately is fine, but combining the two takes a little practice. I suppose this will be that kind of practice... which reminds me; do yourself a favor and come up with a way to avoid Nagashi and similar Tai-busting techniques. Most projectile-based techniques are simple to avoid in close range by nature, but techniques that fire in all directions will cause you problems. In real fights; those are the type of techniques you'll have to watch out for.
_________________________________________________________________________________

The Sandaime makes no verbal reply to the yellow-haired Hokage, opting instead to meet his respectful bow with one of his own, offering the Namizake an approving look before assuming a simple, low stance of his own; knees bent and his clenches fists held out before him at chest-height.

"Please," he finally says, voice a soft baritone. "Attack me."

I see, I always wondered what it would be like to have Kaito's Tai. It seems extremely useful and interesting. I'll se what I can do, as I try to stick to Minato's character as much as possible, I'd want to combine my Taijutsu with speed and precision, and also Fuuinjutsu (if I get it one day z,z). I have, however, used the Seal of FTG in various fights, aiming to make things easier for myself especially against stronger opponents in close range. As for omni-directional attacks, I'll check out some ways to try and do that. Now for my first attack I am totally going out of my comfort zone and attacking straight forward, not something I usually do. Here goes nothing.

"Attack me."

These words echoed throughout the area. There was silence. The Raikage spoke with confidence and power, something which Minato knew was a sign of strength. Heeding to the Raikage's request, Minato began his attack. By gathering a large amount of Wind based chakra to every part of his body, Minato released it forwards, creating a semi transparent aura around his body. This makes him more fluid and lighter. Within the blink of an eye, Minato would blast forward towards the Raikage in a powerful burst of speed. Within mere moments, Minato is before the Raikage. Then without a moment's delay, with his body slightly crouched before the massive man, Minato launches his left hand towards the Raikage's right rib area, aiming to inflict a sharp pain thanks to the Wind attributes of his body. With his right hand, Minato slams it into the chest of the Raikage, applying the Seal of the Flying Thunder God in the form of a powerful palm thrust. Not only would both actions happen simultaneously, but it would be difficult to discern the placement of the seal. Due to the speed of the hit, the Raikage would perhaps be hit back a bit. His large stature makes things difficult for Minato, who on the other hand, is far more slim and lean.

Type: Supplementary, Offensive
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: Heaven's song is considered the basic form of the Graceful Fist. The user will gather a large sum of fuuton chakra towards every point of their body and release it forward to create a semi-transparent white aura around the users body (finger tips, limbs, stomach area, etc.). When releasing this style the users take up the properties of fuuton chakra that corresponds with Graceful fist. The user will feel much lighter and fluid when using the style, especially in hand to hand combat where the user will be able to react with ease. This is because Graceful fist allows the user to watch the opponents every move with high level of clarity, this allows the user to counter an opponents attack in hand to hand combat. Due to being much lighter with the wind chakra around their body the user will be able to leap further and move around quicker. The user will also obtain a higher attack potency in battle. The user, whenever they deliver a attack towards the opponent it will cause serious sharp cutting pain because of the attributes the fighting style takes up. The sharp pain is precise and accurate furthermore since the user has high knowledge of the human body, knowing where every muscle and ligament are located they can use this cutting property to cut the muscles because of the sharpness this fighting style grants towards the user. This means the user can rip a muscle of the opponents biceps for example and completely render that arm useless or move with serious pain.
Notes:
- Can only be used three times per-match.
- Must be a practitioner of Yūgana Ken | Graceful Fist
- Can only be used in conjunction with Graceful Fist techniques.

Type: Defensive
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
A simple yet effective Ninjutsu technique, Minato will dash in a burst of raw speed and jump, run or dodge an incoming attack. This is done by taking advantage of his enhanced reactions and his fast intellect when perceiving an attack and combining it with a burst of pure movement speed. Off course this can only be used on a battle ground that enables it and never mid air. It has some limitations though as Minato himself doesn't have a high movement speed but its still enough to mimic what can be described as an "instant" movement. Because of this, if the user wants to dodge or evade attacks from faster bios such as Raikage bios or EIG users, he needs the use of his space time techniques. The technique also has some limits in the movement it can produce, which are overall linear, lacking the ability to produce intricate and complicated movement patterns. Doujutsu users (at least 2T for Sharingan), Sensors or EIG users/masters as well as users with high reaction/reflexes or senses will still be able to track the user although, in some cases, become unable to react.
Note: This version can only be used by Minato bios once every 2 turns, a maximum of 3 times.

Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: Minato uses this technique to apply the sealing formula to any desired object through physical contact and allowing him to teleport to that desired location through the Flying thunder God Technique.
Note: Can only be used by Minato bios.

I really like this attack, I do! If we were on a, and a I hesitate to use this term, rigid RP site I'd have very few ways to counter that.
We are, however, on NB, which means that there'll be very people around who will allow this to connect simply because succesfully avoiding it requires a little 'lucky' stuff.
See, you're Minato. Most of your opponents will use your character's 'fame' as a gateway to explaining how they know what you're trying to do. Most, I reckon, will attempt to stay out of short range in the first place, some will meet these kind of attacks with swift brutality and a few might even wear clothes that are easily discardable, so as to allow your attack to connect, but then respond to it with a powerful counter and quickly discard the 'marked' item of clothing.
Let me show you something:
_________________________________

The Sandaime responds to the incoming attack with the grace of an experienced veteran. As the Hokage lets his arms sail forwards in a double-punch Sensho simply responds by whipping both his clenched fists inwards, aiming to smash his fists against the Hokage's forearms with enough force to break them.
_________________________________

I could've used most basic Taijutsu techniques to achieve the same effect:
(Daburufisuto) Double Fist
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user punches the target with both fist into the chest with enough force to knock him down or send him flying backwards.
Substituting broken arms for multiple cracked ribs. You see the point, right? Minato can go right ahead and apply his seals... so long as he is contend to get severely injured in the process. This is the trap of NarutoBase Taijutsu, for very few will allow themselves to take damage - outside of a Mod-ruling - without giving as good as they get. Characters that have healing abilities dominate this field because they can afford injuries, but normal characters? Broken bones are costly.

I'm no Minato-expert; but note that my attack focuses on your forearms, an area that will, I assume, be covered by clothes, which means that my attack connecting won't substitue for the physical contact you attempt to establish through your attack to apply your seal. (This might be bs, don't take my word for this).

I like how you use your speed, but unless your techniques offer you very serious bonuses you should be prepared for them to be all but dismissed. People don't mind the little things. Simply being a Tai specialist will be explanation enough for most when they argue how they track your movements. Still, keep using Flicker Evasion and that Graceful Fist technique. They seem very helpful and lots of stuff piled on top of each other will make a difference in the end... and if you ever feel like your opponent is underestimating your speed; use the chart. Don't be afraid to go there.

You're good. I like this so far.

Indeed, Adachi used the whole clothing tactic against me in the battle test for the biography, I did get him back for it though. Epic counter, and I have to agree that you just made it quite difficult for me to continue my initial move without the consequence of getting my arms broken. I will, however, try out a tactic I read of in an EIG test, that might or might not work, please do correct me on what I did wrong xD. I am glad I am not boring you though!

Minato's movements were quick, and precise. He made his way towards the Raikage with great speed, the perfect move. However, the Raikage was prepared. Without even wasting a moment of thinking, the Raikage brought down his massive arms towards Minato's forearms. Both being very fast shinobi, Minato knew that if he continued his move, which was placing the Seal on the Raikage, he wouldn't have the arms to continue. With this man's brute strength, he could easily break both Minato's arms.

As the Raikage's arms come down, Minato enters a state of drunken stupor. His arms follow the path of the Raikage's downwards, evading them with ease. As Minato evades the deadly hit and brings his arms back towards his chest, he would propel his very body forward, with his head first. He would then suddenly sway his body to the left swiftly, and deliver a smashing head butt against the Raikage as he lifts his right knee simultaneously in an attempt to deliver a powerful knee thrust to his right. He supports his knee thrust by grabbing onto the Raikage's clothes with both his hands and pulling his body towards the incoming knee (like those old kick-boxing movies). All his attacks are enhanced by the Graceful Fist training, allowing them to be more deadly and actually cause some damage on this massive man.
