Not really. Aidtachi is just a name. Like how some people call Sasuke Sasugay, or Naruto Nardo, or Madara Shedara, and lastly Obito Doritos.

Itachi can beat the majority of people that have ever lived, simply by looking at them in the eye. It's not surprising people would put him at god tier when less than 10 people (and that's being generous) can withstand looking him in the eye.

Yes, he is. Because Itachi became an obstacle for Sasuke to overcome, and gifted him with his MS to cure the blindness that comes with MS.

If the people that Itachi can't beat aren't god tier themselves, that definitely doesn't put Itachi at god-tier. I am not even denying he is strong, he is definitely strong, but not as strong as people make him out to be. Easily top 15, and possibly top 10.
