Clarifying the Dojutsu Power Rankings

These eyes are confusing.

Is there an 'official' or generally accepted understanding of how the eyes rank?

I figure it makes sense that the jubbi eye- the red eye with the rinnegan rings and 9 tomoes is the strongest eye because it's supposedly the progenitor of all the eyes so it should be the most potent right?

Then Sasuke's eye- the purple eye with rinnegan rings and 6 tomoes. Sasuke was able to subjugate all 9 tailed beasts with a mere glance. Plus the tomoes indicate potency of power, right? Like when a regular sharingan user gains tomoes as the eyes get stronger?

If this is true, then does that mean Sasuke's eye is stronger than the Sage's eyes?

And was it the rinnegan that enabled the Sage to use yin and yang to create the tailed beasts?

Shouldn't Sasuke be able to do that stuff too?

I'm not really factoring in the byakugan in this bc it seems completely separate from the other dojutsus, as they seem to have been the eye of the Ootsuki clan?

So did Kahguya always have that 3rd eye in her forehead or did she gain it after eating the fruit.

Sasukes rinnegan is most likely stronger than double rinnegan but the sage is stronger since he was a juubi jin. Kaguya got the third eye after she ate the god fruit.

In the end, all rinnegan users have access to the same skills, after they've mastered their eyes. Just because they start at different points does not mean one doesn't have the same skills as another. The tomoe on sasuke's rinnegan is just a result of hag's doing. It doesn't mean anything. If he would have awakened it the normal way, he would have had the same as madara's/hag's. In the end madara has sasuke's ame, and sasuke has madara's limbo.

This is true. I stopped short of asking whether Sasuke is stronger than Hago bc even though his eye might rank higher than the regular rinnegan, Hago still has that third eye and other abilities that likely trumps Sasuke in terms of overall power.

Why 3T Sharingan > Byakugan? All 3T can really do is guess movements. Byakugan has Gentle fist and Air palm.

sasukes rinnegan only does what a normal rinnegan does. there is no difference between a rinnegan with tomoes and a rinnegan without tomoes.

the only exceptions would be in the case of perfect susano users. madaras susano is his full power when he is not a juubi jinchuriki despite his rinnegan.
sasukes perfect susano is his full power despite the rinnegan.
