Lol Kishi did that so they mature. He did not want them to be together because they were under 18.

He didn't have to get with her, but he could have at least told her something to the affect of him appreciating her feelings, but not understanding love. Something to make it seem like Hinata wasn't just sitting there waiting while fan girls drooled over him

I get that he wanted them to mature, but timeskips leave us with nothing, but empty blanks

I'm not sure about flawless. Kishimoto could have done better with that.
The only thing Kishi needs to do is get an assistance that is good with romance writhing and give them the right set the romance ones Kishi has chosen the couple. Other Writhers do the same thing when their weak on a certain subject. But you had to be blind and stupid not to have seen NaruHina from the early writhing of Naruto and early Drawing of Naruto. For 700 chapters keep screaming out Naruto and Hinata and Sasuke and Sakura.

I see what you mean...but Hinata and Naruto at that time barely knew each other on a personal level.

He did appreciate her efforts against Pein in the War Arc. As for your next part. I would like to see the movie before I come to a conclusion that this is what really happen. Even if it did, Naruto was never obligated to returning his feelings for Hinata. I get what your saying, But the issue you are complaining about is not really that big. It was something that was not really required, but a nicer thing to do.

I did not see much of the movie so I can't say much about those two years. I will say this much, Naruto not only seems mature as a character but as a fighter to. Maybe he used those two years on more important things like training etc. Cause his fighting style really changed from using clones to a hip pop fighter. He looks like a rapper in motion when he is jingling around in his fights.

Edit: Oh can't forget those one handed Rasen-shurikens with such control.

Naruto just simply didn't have feelings for her. He liked her as a person and respected how much she cares for him but he simply didn't see her in that way for a long time. He thought sakura was gonna be his true love. While kishi might indeed be pretty bad at creating romantic plot lines it doesn't make naruto an evil or rude character. I honestly didn't like hinata's character for a long time, her shyness and weakness really put me off from liking her. So i can feel why for so long naruto didn't care for her in that way.

:| I really don't see Naruto not paling around with friends. U can't really say he was in the village and zero free time. Naruto doesn't seem like that type. No doubt he trained though.

Tbh, all this situation needs is reference. Him and Hinata seem a lot closer in the movie as well. It is obvious that they have spent time together, I mean he is comfortable enough with her to invite her to his room for ramen, but it would be nice to see something that tells me he didn't take her confession and throw it on the back shelf.

Though logically thinking it's not like he could have given a positive reply since he still had feelings for Sakura :coffee: if that were the case the hesitance would make sense, but I still feel bad for Hinata

At this moment everything around those two years is pure speculation on my part. Also not seeing the movie does not really help my cause. So I will give this argument a pause and wait for the movie. You do have a good point though.

Hm.. You know this paragraph right here gets me more curious about the movie now. If what you say is true than I would like to see how all of that really happen? Should be interesting to see in the movie.

Yeah I can understand where your coming from. But than again when you think about it Hinata really did not need to wait those two years. So in a way you could even blame her for waiting on a guy who did not acknowledge her feelings sooner. Because in the end we are all responsible for our own actions. We can't blame others for everything we did not do.

Kishi logic apparently.

I love you.
Oh cool.
*Years later*
Still love me?
Yep
Cool
*Gets married*

Exactly and some fans are like "Oh that that's totally fine. You wanted naruto to love her because she loved him. He was thinking about the war. He had to save Sasuke." Because disregarding someone's love for you is fine. It doesn't matter if Naruto does it because he was thinking about the war and Sasuke because it's normal to have a one-dimensional mindset but Hinata and other female have to think about love in Naruto during the war. Yea logic apparently. XD

Not gonna fault a woman for being in love. If I did that I'd have no place in shipping SS :coffee:
Becuz endurance is not a strong enough word for that pairing Lol

We'll first things first hinata doesn't love Naruto she has very Intense admiration for him that Kishi passes off as love becuase he doesn't know how to write romance.

Since this is concerning your reputation I can understand. But wow I can see a little resemblance with Sakura and Hinata here. Although Hinata got the lesser abuse.

If Naruto acknowledged her love sooner. The direction of the manga would have changed completly. You are not taking circumstances into consideration while blabbing about this.

Cause Hinata represents a double standard. If she was a man and acted the way she did, she'd be a pervert and a stalker. But no. She has big boobs and so then everyone loves and forgives her. Well I won't. You suck and you know it Hinata
