Please don't attack me for this but I've really been wondering about this topic....How is Naruto not a bad person for disregarding and not considering Hinata's love until two years later? Like he eventually acknowledge her but he didn't consider her confession or love until the last chapter and the movie. He even lied to his dad and said Sakura was his girlfriend(I guess he hates himself XD).Even if he was joking about that stuff it's still messed up. He could have considered her love in the manga. Like how many of you guys would want to be with someone who disregarded you're love and didn't consider it till two years later? Also I'm not saying he should have automatically loved her because she love him. He didn't acknowledge her love at first is what I'm saying.

You seriously expected him to just force feelings for Hinata or something? Since when do we develop feelings for someone just because they developed feelings for us?

Because Kishi neglects many potential plot twists and scenes.

He just saw Hinata as a good friend, Naruto still was stuck on Sakura.

Blame Kishi for writing a poor romance, he even admitted he wasn't very good at that kind of stuff.

Lol I do blame him. I just don't understand why it is seen as if Naruto was so great to her.

He was joking around, i joke around a lot when my parents are around.

Well after pain arc, they initially started with the kage arc, we didn't get a lot of interactions with the other teams besides the sasuke talk and that's it.

I don't consider it bad because naruto was focused on Sasuke and the village, love can wait.

Right when I read your name, I right away knew it was about pairings. How is he a bad person when he did not acknowledge Hinata's love in the first place? Are you saying that every person should give in to those who love them? Just because they love them? I mean Naruto needed some sort of reason to love back. It can't be just him acknowledging her love, than right away going with her. Plus its not like these two interacted 24/7 in the manga. So it makes sense that it took him that long to acknowledge it or see it.

Lol I do blame him. I just don't understand why it is seen as if Naruto was so great to her.

If you look back at there interactions. Naruto has never once insulted Hinata in such a mean way. He always supported her when it mattered. Same with Hinata. That is why Naruto is not seen as a mean person to her.

What do you mean by disregarding?
I never understood how people can be so damn horny during war times. Naruto needed to train and become stronger to take down sasuke, he didnt have time to stop and go on dates, he was always on a mission to go get his friend. Also Hinata understood his struggle, and guess what, she decided to do the same as him. She decided that she would train to become stronger, so that she can stand along Naruto in his journey, and while she didnt get to stand right next to him the whole time, she was there during the, arguably, 2 most important times of his life, 1. When he was basically going to be captured by Pain and die, and 2. When he was going to completely lose faith in himself. Anyone that thinks that Naruto was bad for not becoming weak and forgetting his goal is a moron.

I didn't say that. I don't even ship that pairing. I just didn't like how he didn't acknowledge her love or anything. But kishimoto is bad with love.

The OP is a girl, girls only care about love and romance stuff, war, saving the world etc are irrelevant for them. Don't go hard on her Lol

No, I'm saying it wasn't acknowledge until the end of the manga and in the movie.

Right, I am asking how is it a bad thing? Why is it required for Naruto to give back his feelings to someone that loves him?

Yes, some people think that it's okay that the love wasn't acknowledge because they wasn't around each other or a war was happening but that didn't stop certain characters like sakura, karin, and even Hinata from liking or thinking about people they liked.

Right, I am asking how is it a bad thing? Why is it required for Naruto to give back his feelings to someone that loves him?

It's not required. I just though it was wrong that her love wasn't acknowledge or considered until the end.

I like how he just brushed the whole situation aside lol

Yes, like thank you for noticing that. It was like really Kishimoto. You make Naruto brush this asided.

Well its not wrong because Naruto had no commitment to do that. He was his own person. Now if he was in a relationship with her and never acknowledged her love for him. Than it would be wrong.

Or some type of acknowledgment towards her love before the end of the manga.
