Nah, most are just Dragons. However the acnologia was originally a human Dragon Slayer, but he eventually became a Dragon overtime.

Probably, though we still haven't seen Gildarts go all out and only DS magic works on Dragons, so using his fight with acnologia isn't really fair to compare the two Lol.

From what I understood, the dragons had to be constantly within the Dragon Slayers to create the antibodies, so once they leave, the Slayers are vulnerable

what if the process to turn into a dragon has to do with dragon force? Ds use dragonforce and look a little like their dragon, so what if natsu unlock dragonforce v2 or something?
