[Discussion] Is there anime/manga fans in your area?

Is there many anime/manga fans in your area? In my area of england there honestly are not that many. I knew some people at school who like it and my friend likes it. They dont have it on TV here so its not so popular. I must say I was quite surprised this one time in a town centre shopping mall where i saw a kid with a uchiha clan hoodie...

There's enough fans in my city to warrant a yearly meet up, although I wouldn't say there are loads but then again, it's a small city.

In my circle of friends, I can only think of 2-3 people who are full on manga/anime fans. But I know more like me who have read/watch Naruto and maybe a couple of other anime/manga but we don't scout them out as a form of primary entertainment/hobby.

I have a couple other friends that like anime. I like it the most of any of them. I've seen people with Goku's orange shirt/jacket and stuff like that at work. I live in America, and I think anime is getting more widespread and mainstream, so it's not too rare to see someone wearing some anime merch.
