That was her dream since day one. To get inside of Sasuke's pants. Even if it meant her not becoming a ninja. It didn't matter. So long as he was with her, she would be happy. It's one of the most pathetic occurrences in character development I have ever witnessed in any manga or anime.

Her goals, ambitions and trying to do what is right for herself are not even existent. She just wants to be noticed by Sasuke and receive his penis when she is lonely. I question why Sakura fans even like a character like her, but then I come to the conclusion that they act just like her.

Her "love" notice the quotation marks on the word love, is not real love. Even if Kishi said that their doesn't have to be a reason for her to love Sasuke, that is just a cover up to hide the fact that their is no real reason for her idiotic chase for a guy that did more negative than positive to her. There is no reason for her to love him. Sasuke never even displayed any hints of loving her back only after this shit chapter 699 decided to come out and ruin everything, and force Sasuke to turn a complete 180 just so Sukura can be happy, which again makes her pathetic.

I don't even care about these pairings as much as the fact that Kishi created this desperate character in an attempt to create a message but in return it became a disgrace to females across the board. Usually, if woman with any amount of self respect or common sense, would immediately get over a guy that tried to kill her intentionally on the first swing, but to forgive and even blush at him again after the second and third time. Yeah, she has no brain, and she is the worst character in anime history. No other character comes close to how poorly written she is.

Either Japanese culture is very different from mine, or Kishi is terribly one-dimensional with all the female characters.

Sasuke was Sakura's obsession since the manga started. He was her goal, almost in the same twisted way that Sasuke's goal was to kill Itachi.

If Kishi had them end up together so that she achieved her goal, why does it feel so much like a fail to all the readers?

I wanted to believe in Sakura. I wanted to like her. I wanted to have faith in Kishi. I wanted to believe that even if she had feelings for Sasuke, it would be est for her as an individual to move on from him.

Or hell, even if SS happened, can we see Sasuke put in some work? Naruto fought a death bout with a demi-god for Hinata. WTF did Sasuke do for Sakura? I mean wtf?! SMDH.

Because you wanted to find romance in a shonen fight manga, which genre is famous about the fact that shipping and pairings are only for joke and fanservice and taking them seriously is like taking a comic relief seriously.

Want TRUE romance story? Read Midori No Hibi, Ai Kora and watch Basilisk anime! They are truly about romance unlike Naruto, which is just a cheap DBZ copy.

Which is why even though it happen. It will always be one of those poorly developed pairings. I wish the Last gave equal relevance to both of these pairings besides one.
