Hey there everyone, hope you all enjoyed the New Year along with Christmas, hopefully with family and loved ones and best wishes on 2015!
Back on topic, there seems to still be a long list of "Narusaku" fans that are going about their way handing our ridiculous arguments in defense of Naruto's "relationship" Sakura, despite the existance of The Last. So I personally compiled a list of answers in reply to the arguments that were thrown.

NS: “90% of the fandom hated that terrible ending!”
You do not make up 90% of the Naruto fandom, not even by a long shot.
NS: “Not everyone who hated the ending is a NaruSaku fan!”
In retrospect, people who are pairing neutral(not affiliated with any romantic ships) say that the only things they disliked about it was that it was a bit rushed and they would've liked to see more interactions between the characters as well as seeing the fates of other characters. But they also say that they saw what happened in the finale coming from a mile away. Not because they ship the canon couples, but because that was what the manga had been hinting at for years. Also you guys are the only ones complaining about it to a ludicrous degree. Admit it, you read and interpreted the manga wrong in favor of your shipping.
NS: “Kishimoto made NaruHina and SasuSaku happen because SP(Studio Pierrot) made him!”
Kishimoto's had the ending planned out for almost a decade now. He's said this many times in interview for years and recently with his statement before The Last premiered.
NS: “Most of the Japanese fans hated the ending and the pairings!”
The sources I have seen of the Japanese hating on it are from 2ch, the 4chan of Japan. Also known as the most hated site in Japan. Also you haven’t talked to most of the Japanese demographic and thus cannot make them accountable.
NS: “NaruHina and SasuSaku are the most popular in Japan, that’s why they became canon.”
(Note: These are the same people who claim that most of the Japanese fans hated the ending and the pairings, hende contradicting the previous argument.)
NS: “Kishimoto worked on Return to Ninja! He was all for NaruSaku!”
RtN was an AU(non-canon production). The Last is canon. Also the fact that there were no romantic interaction between Naruto and Sakura to begin with. That was more about familial love than romantic love. The Last focuses on romantic love(as stated in the promotion).
NS: “Kishimoto ruined Naruto and Sakura’s characters!”
He created Naruto and Sakura as separate characters with their own development of narrative, not you. He knows their characters better than anyone. He did with their characters what he personally thought was best for them, despite the ill that Sakura received in the end.
NS: “Shinachiku has more development than Boruto and Himawari!” (Yes, I encountered some of this...)
That’s because he’s a fan fiction child. One that you guys created and have been writing and drawing since the end of Naruto due to your refusal to acknowledge Chapter 700. We don’t yet know anything about Boruto or Himawari in terms of their character, but will in the mini series and the upcoming Boruto Movie.
NS: “NaruHina and SasuSaku had NO development!”
There was plenty of development. You just chose to not acknowledge them and completely ignore them in the process in contrast with claiming every interaction between Naruto and Sakura as "Narusaku moments". Again, you have no one to blame but yourselves for failing to interpret the manga.
NS: “Sakura was starting to love Naruto!”
There was never any proof of that, if anything the absolute opposite. She loved Naruto, but as a friend and even a kid brother to some degree due to their interaction. Plus it’s been confirmed since the Five Kage Summit that Sakura was still very much in love with Sasuke when she refused to kill him.
NS: “Hinata was a useless side character! She ruined the manga!”
Hinata did not ruin anything. You just once again chose to ignore her development and progression throughout the series when some chapters focused on her, primarily her involvement in helping Naruto after the death of Neji along with her near-sacrifice during the Pain Invasion. For a second-tier character she has surprisingly done quite a lot despite her role.
NS: “Naruto is shit! Kishimoto is a terrible author!”
Then why are you even bothering ? In retrospect no one is forcing you to read the manga and/or animated series and if anything this fandom and Kishimoto would do a lot better without "fans" that would throw tantrums whenever they don’t get what you want. Not the story or the author’s fault that you failed to properly comprehend a story for your own personal enjoyment. By the way you were reading the manga illegally anyways so if anything you had nothing to say to begin with.

That is all I can come up with so far in terms of countering arguments, hopefully will update this another time once they come through. :bye:
