Kakashi already proved that he can open gates back in part 1, and he's the one who trained sasuke to match lee's weightless speed. So its only natural that kakashi would have superior taijutsu than both.

Because at that point in time it was. Sasuke was there yet couldn't save her. He resorted to using his fastest tech yet still failed. Not to mention kakashi is the first to use his Mongekyou techniques on his ps despite sasuke fans making the claim that Sasuke can do the same, sasuke emulated it by having ps use chidori but that's another topic all together.
