[Discussion] Chestnut, the most underrated One Piece character

That guy killed one shotted a Sea King underwater. That's something not even the M3 could do until after the timeskip. Momonga pulled it off, but he wasn't underwater. He oneshotted a God-Snake, Wiper + Zoro's tag team did virtually no damage to him.

Lets just pause for a second. Look at the bolded text. Yeah... Chestnut and Red-Parrot-dude (also known by some as "Kalgara") were at least as strong as Momonga.

That's what I thought. He's seriously strong!

He solo'd the Humans of Dressrosa at some point too...

Give Chestnut the respect he f*cking deserves.

OT: He's strong in terms of pre-skip, but not unbelievably strong. Humans of Dressrosa mean nothing. The civilians in Dressrosa are no more lethal than the civilians of the Four Blues. Now if he defeated a big name... it might have meant something.

He wasn't a Marine admiral though. He was an admiral for whatever specific country he sailed for. Making him virtually no different in rank than Orlumbus.

Seriously though I don't think he was weak. He was a liar and all, but for him and his trip to be 'recorded' after so long, I think he was formidable at least v_v

He was actually not a liar. He just could not prove all his stories.

Key word is he worked for a Kingdom. Not only that, he was executed by this kingdom for having been labeled a liar (as Jaiya blasted half of itself into the sky.

I don't see a Marine Admiral just letting himself get executed.

For now he is featless, pointless discussion. If he is a distant predecessor of Usopp in any way; he could've had a fairly good Observation Haki, since Usopp is atm the God of Observation Haki.

Once again; these are all pure assumptions....both from me and from you.... There's no point in predicting OP since Oda is unpredictable.

And what is this hype?? Usopp does not have the best CoO. There are different types of it and he just recently learned 1... How is he going to be the best, better than Sanji who's specialty is CoO and he literally just learned it minutes ago? lol.

Enel is still better than him, by far by the by. Not only was he a natural beast at CoO, but his devil fruit even powers it up more.

Featless?

Oneshotted a Giant-Cobra without even trying. Zoro + Wiper couldn't even damage a Giant Cobra, let alone oneshot one. This feat easily puts him above the pre-TS Strawhats (as a whole) at least

He defeated a Sea King underwater. Therefore he is at least as strong as Momonga

I reckon he was above the current M3 towards the end of his life
