[Discussion] kaido of the yonkou!

Could kaido be a former member of the PK pirate crew?
Come to think of it, it was said Shanks made an encounter with kaido, but I don't think they clashed as shanks was able to show up at the apex of the War of the best.
So here is my hypothesis:
1- Kaido is a former member of the PK crew (most likely Scopper Gaban, nobody knows what became of him after Rogers execution)
2- shanks encounter with Kaido wasn't a clash. I deduce shanks was able to talk him out of it. NOTE: shanks crew were quite looking okay, not even with bruises, (like really, could they pull a stunt like that after facing a fellow yonkou?)
3-Maybe Kaido might up making an alliance with the SH, due to him believing luffy would be the on to succeed his Late captain.
4- BigMam might make an aliance with the SH due to her being lola's mum, and lola being a friend of the SH.
5- BLackbeard being the only bad guy among the Yonko's.

Kaido's main goal was to kill Whitebeard. To do so, he would have to take Shanks first. Even if Kaido is stronger than Shanks, he'd not get out without wounds.
A wounded Kaido would not be able to take WB, so he probably retreated when he met Shanks. It's pure stupidity to face two Yonko.

i dont think kaido wanted to kill WB or fight him to death he just wanted to delay him so the marines can execute ace with no war in order to avoid the upcoming changes after the war cause it will affect his business but shanks interfered to let WB arrive to MF in time and after kaido realized he wouldnt be able to catch up wb he just backed off rather than fighting a pointless battle with a strong oponent

Gabban seems to parallel Sanji. Like Rayleigh parallels Zoro and Roger parallels Luffy.

There was no need to face two of them. Killing Shanks alone can earn him a lot yet he choose to quit his objective which proves that it was a bad idea for him to face Shanks.

Pretty sure everyone would know who the Pirate Kings crewmates are. Especially as they were all hunted down aside from a lucky few lesser ones like Shanks and Buggy, as well as those too strong to easily apprehend such as Rayleigh or Gabban.

Kaido wasn't looking to just gain a lot and just kill anyone, he wanted to kill Whitebeard in particular. A clash with a Yonko would have left him badly injured if he won, which would have put him in no position to fight WB. It was a bad idea for him to face Shanks not because he would have lost, but because he had a specific target, and fighting Shanks would have left him in no position to face that target.
