It was just a general observation. I don't judge if someone is a child purely based on age. Mental maturity is what separates children and adults in the long run. You can be 25 years old and physically an adult but if you haven't matured to the point where you've gotten rid of your childish and immature tendencies, you're still a child to me.

Itachi never limited himself the way Sasuke did. Itachi saw a much bigger picture than Sasuke could ever have seen on his own. In fact, only Naruto, Bunpuku, Shisui (maybe), edo Hashirama, Gaara (kind of), and Shikamaru express any semblance of Itachi's wisdom in that regard.

There is no totsuka blitz really. Orochimaru was literally stuck inside of Sasuke's shoulders and he was a huge target to begin with in that 8 headed snake mode. Naturally, he couldn't really move from that spot if he tried. As for Nagato, smoke from the prior explosion of the rasenshuriken, bijuudama, and yasaka magatama was covering his eyes. Furthermore he was under the control of Kabuto so he couldn't control his movements. Therefore he had no chance to dodge the blade because he was blinded by the smoke and Kabuto kept him standing still at that moment. Thus far therefore, totsuka has no speed feats. A blitz is when someone plain out owns their opponent despite their opponent not being physically restricted from moving in the slightest and with them being able to perfectly see the attack coming (nothing in their eyes, it wasn't from a blind side, etc...) Examples of actual blitzes include what Madara did to Naruto and Sai after he got revived via rinne tensei and when Sasuke cut Madara in half. In the former case, Naruto and Sai were looking straight at Madara and nothing was preventing them from moving or dodging. Yet they still got knocked back. In Sasuke's case (though he did come from behind), Madara was turned around and he actually saw Sasuke coming. He was also flying so his movement wasn't restricted. Yet he still got cut in half.

See, this is why the base is so divided. It's inhabited by a myriad of immature children who think a characters worth is determined by how much power they wield. If we use that logic then you can say Kaguya is the best character in the manga, which is obviously not true. Itachi's character is what makes him. The angel in the darkness, shielding the Shinobi world with his wings. His acts seemed heinous to the naked eye but the justified end is what makes his actions and his character so complex.

It is funny how you say this, yet every 5 seconds there is a thread saying something like "God Itachi > NV" or "Itachi is the strongest Uchiha" or "Itachi soloes (insert rikudou level opponent here that is way out of his league such as Madara, Obito, Kaguya, Naruto, Sasuke, etc...)". Your post was very eloquently worded, but you must admit that unless you're new to the base, don't come on the base often, or just haven't been paying attention, then you know that there are plenty of those Itachi fans who are actually talking about power when they over rate him and they are not just talking about that "character trait" stuff that you're talking about. This is the over rating that the OP is referring to. Therefore, he is not being immature.
