The reason Itachi a faster start then sasuke.

Itachi was trained by his father ( the clan leader). He also picked up a lot of skills from the powerful shisui. Take a look at sasuke's teachers Iruka lol, mizuki, and pt 1 kakashi. Sasuke was basically on his own untill he ran off to Orochimaru , while itachi had incredible teachers at a very early age.

Iruka doesn't count as a Shinobi teacher, he was an Academy Teacher which teaches Math, Science, History(I'm assuming) and on off ocassions Jutsu. But. I think Kakashi was definitely a way better teacher to have
