Wouldn't Hakuba have killed all of them by now?

That's is an interesting thought. He seems to turn into Hakuba every time he sleeps. His pirate life would be pointless. But there must be some reason.

Maybe Hakuba recognizes his crew? Hakuba also doesn't last long so maybe his crew takes certain precautions.

I don't think Hakuba appeared unconsiously in the last chapter. I think Cavendish is able to bring him out deliberatel as well. But its just a guess.

Maybe his crew does not consist only of fodders so that when he loses control they can halt him and keep their grounds, same way Luffy's crew could stop him (another captain) if he ever would go apesh!t

@Bold: Agreed and Playing dead is the best option I can think of.

Either he has very strong comrades capable to handle themselves even in case it happens, or they have their own precautions in case it happens. Other possibility is that Hakuba doesn't attack people familiar to Cavendish, but i doubt it. He seems too feral

I think he does have some amount of conscious control over Hakuba. We'll see in the next chapter.

Or he is like Jack Sparrow that always needs a new crew, after slicing them all like steaks.

Yeah it would be amazing to see Jack sparrow. I wonder when he will make his appearance.

He is waiting for Luffy at Raftel. To give him the One Piece and to tell him what the will of the D is.

Maybe...maybe he doesn't actually have a crew (anymore) and it's just strong memories that he can't let go of from having a crew when he orginaly set to the sea

I am not joking. The 7th shichibukai is based on Jack.
