She has changed in character. She was self conscious hiding her forehead with a fringe, crying at every given threat to being an emotionally sound mature women. Sakura really has developed in character if you consider how she was like in part 1. #Harunobase

Back to #HarunoBase I think you would find that she become emotionally stronger in part 2. See the examples in the first post. I'm sure part one Sakura would not have thrown herself into action like we have been seeing in shippuden

Part 1 Sakura did not have the ablities or strength she got in part 2. What made the difference is that training with Tsunade. That made her more useful in most situations.

As far as being emotionally stronger part goes. I feel you could thank Naruto for that. Since he took her burden to bring Sasuke back upon himself. At one point she thought killing Sasuke was the only way to free him. That to me is not a sign of emotional strength. It is a sign of weakness. She had completly lost faithe in herself and made a mess of it when she could never do it herself. It was Naruto who came in during that time to restore her faith. My point is she was still heavily reliant on others through out the series. She was never emotionally stronger herself.
