Vex is a slim, yet muscular, toned young man of average height with spiky blond hair, which is
kept in strands jutting outwards in every direction, and a smaller, frontal cowlick (or tuft) of hair partially hanging over his forehead. He has slanted, slit pupiled, dark blue eyes; above the right one is a thin, diagonal scar. Vex's left ear is adorned with an earring which, in itself, is attached to by a prominent metal pendant that is crystalline in shape. His dark Iwagakure mark is located on his left shoulder. Of course his teeth have been filed to sharp points, and he has his Pufferfish summoning tattoo located on the inside of his lip.Vex dons a blue vest with golden outer edges and inner edges covered by a prominent trimming of gray fur that appears similar to a feather boa over a short, cream top, leaving his muscular upper abdominals exposed. His arms are covered by dark blue gloves reaching up to his mid-bicep, with their upper edges being adorned by light gray bands hanging down several centimeters. He wears loose, cream-colored pants held up by suspenders, which are attached to the pants' loops by square-shaped rings that are gold in color. Over them, he dons distinctive dark blue galosh-esque footwear that reaches up to his thighs and attach to the upper edge of his pants. The prominent soles of the "boots" are distinctive in their own right; it has rectangular protrusions pointing upwards on their front portion, reminiscent of square fangs.
Occasionally, Vex changes his outfit. Vex occasionally wears a dark blue, gold trimmed jacket, as well as a black, high-collared piece of what appears to be armor underneath, exposing, yet again, his abdominals. With this, Vex wore light-gray colored pants with fang-like designs on the side; he accessorized his outfit with two different belts: one around his waist and one below that that holds a feather boa. His pants are tucked inside boots that are extremely reminiscent of his original pair. Every now and then, he wears a light-colored jacket with dark-colored clothing protruding from the inside, with the collar pointed upwards; his new jacket still retains the feather boa. Vex retains his old gloves that cover the majority of his arms and also wears a striped belt and dark pants, which are tucked inside his dark-colored boots.

Vex is a rather calm individual and is usually seen smiling; he rarely ever loses his temper. Vex believes that people who abandon their comrades are scum and does not hesitate to punish them for their acts. He becomes easily excited upon seeing others fighting, even if they are much stronger than himself and always possesses a desire to better himself. In addition, he is quite the jokester often making light of difficult situations, and being an optimist in general. Vex is an extremely strong willed individual, and carries the 'Will of Stone'. This means that his will is as unmovable as a stone, he doesn't change his ideals, and will never give up no matter what. He is sometimes a little cocky and over confident, and as such he has a large ego. However, in general he is a kind man who just happens to be a bit of a loud mouth.

History
Vex was born in the outskirts of Sunagakure, to unknown parents. With no one to care for him, Vex made his living as a petty thief. He was an underfed, and pitiful thing. One day, a strange green haired swordsman saw him. The swordsman carried three swords on him, and took pity on the young Vex. The swordsman decided to take Vex in, and raise him as he would a son. With tough love, Vex also began to train with the swordsman. This swordsman seemed to be very well-versed in the arts of close quarters combat, and Vex learned a lot. Vex had no formal training at an academy, he only had what he learned in the streets, and what the swordsman taught him. After a time, Vex decided to leave Sunagakure. He was resentful, at how the majority of the people treated him. When Vex left, the swordsman let him go easily. With a heartfelt goodbye, Vex began his journey.
Vex's travels took him all across the ninja world, and as he traveled he learned from many people. He then decided to travel in a far off land, searching for adventure, and he found it. Vex met up with a group called The Sanctuary, who were an underground group of shinobi fighting a secret war. Vex joined up with them, and eventually volunteered for a suicide mission....well volunteered may be a bit of a strong word. Vex was simply stretching his hand, and had accidentally volunteered. He decided to go anyways, and the men who went with him were Anton Shudder, Ghastly Bespoke, Saracen Rue, Corrival Deuce, Erskine Ravel, Hopeless, Larrikin, and the leader Skulduggery Pleasant. After coming back from the suicide mission alive, Vex and the others were called 'The Dead Men', and went on other suicide missions, always surviving. Eventually though, they lost some people. Larrikin died saving Vex, taking a kunai that was meant for him, while Hopeless, and Corrival Deuce also died sometime later. The stress of the missions began to take their toll, especially on Erskine Ravel. Erskine plotted the deaths of the Dead Men, but only managed to kill Anton and Ghastly.

Sickened with the whole ordeal, Vex allowed Skulduggery to take seek revenge on Ravel. He however, sought a new home. He journeyed to Iwagakure, and made his home there for many years, and made many friends there. In addition, upon his travels he met a man named Amaimon Katsuryoku who agreed to induct him into his house, and to teach him his arts.

Katsuryoku and Taijutsu:
Vex was born naturally ambidextrous, and with above average physical capabilities. Then, as he went on through life, learning to fight with numerous fighting styles, and increasing his physical power and speed, he reached his current levels of power. He has increased his reflexes, and speed so that he is slightly faster than the average shinobi. In addition, he is able to swing a sword at faster speeds than normal. Due to his Katsuryoku heritage, Vex has developed the ability to sense living beings, as well as Genki, and unbound spiritual energy (found in CC submission). Through his trainings with Gobi Gobletsson, Vex will further learn to control and hone his skills to be able to summon, and control Genki within combat.

Med School and Chakra Control:
Due to going through the medical school's intense curriculum, and becoming an official Medical Shinobi, Vex's chakra control has increased dramatically. He is able to easily switch between elemental chakras, and chain together combos much easily and fluidly. While in the medical school, Vex has chosen to specialize in Tissue Regeneration, and Self Empowerment.
Weaponry:
Due to his training in Fuuinjutsu, Vex has various tattoos across his arms, with which he can use to summon various larger weapons which won't fit into his ninja pouch, such as swords, footballs, giant shuriken, war fans, boomerangs of various sizes, premade scrolls for the water/earth/fire/lightning/wind sealing jutsu, some cloth, and various teddy animals. He can access these through the touch of a tattoo, and can thus use them very quickly to aid him in battle. In addition, he has the standard ninja pouch on him at all times full of scrolls, kunai, shuriken, etc.

Description: The user will have a seal on their body with the Kanji for a specific element and it will lay dormant until the user is physically struck, be it by an attack, weapon or an opponent. Whenever the user is physically interacted with (e.g. punched, stabbed, shot), their body will instantly exhibit all of the properties of the chosen element. This doesn't mean their body merely has the properties of the element but rather when interacted with the targeted part(s) of the body will passively dissipate into storm energy or harden into steel (effect depends on the chosen element). If for example the user is stabbed and they turn into storm energy, the bladed weapon would merely phase through their energy-composed body and leave them unaffected. On the other side of the scale, if the user's body hardens into steel then the attack will simply do them no harm. After the attack or strike has passed through them, their body will automatically revert itself to it's normal appearance. Since this technique usually only applies to specific parts of the body, any unconverted portions of the user's body can still be moved/controlled/used as normal. While in this form, the user can only use the element they transformed into, the element's it's composed of and any combination of the aforementioned element as well as any non-elemental abilities. This technique enables the user to defend against A-Ranks and below of neutral elements (B-Ranks and below for weaknesses, S-Ranks and below for strengths). If the user is struck with an attack that will neutralize their transformation, the two cancel one another out and the user reverts to their original form unharmed. If the user is struck with an attack that overpowers their transformation, the user's body reverts to it's original form and sustains the remaining damage (after the collision of techniques). The only exception to this rule is if the two chosen elements have no sort of interaction with one another (e.g. Fire and Lightning), in which case rank differences will not matter. Regardless of how the user is hit, this can be a full body or partial transformation (depends on the user’s choice). Should they be struck by a physical attack capable of cancelling out their transformation (e.g. a sword streaming nagashi), the sword will remain inside them on reversion and they’ll be impaled by the blade.
