Why is that fodder hinata so popular? Makes no sense!

Let me teach you about the concept of personal preference ..you see...personal preference is one individual's greater liking for one alternative over another or others.

Personal preference holds over to characters as well. Whether it is design, power, actions, personality, etc... Personal preference is key.



For me, I love the girl.


She's a kind person. Even with her status as a nobel heiress, she doesn't hold herself a I've others. She's also caring, and shows concern for her family, team, her guardian Ko, and also Naruto.

She's not some unstoppable monster, but she does her best with what she can do. Even though Neji and Pain would out class her during their encounters, she didn't shy away from the fight.

Also, she serves as a source of inspiration for Naruto. The multiple times she encourages him when he's down, and several times is responsible for saving his life.


In short, I like her personality, I like her design, I like her fighting style, while not strong she does her best even against impossible odds, I respect her role as someone who motivates Naruto.

Lmaooo dont care. I do not read Hinata wankers or fans trying desperately to defend her as a character. She is fodder and had no relevance. Her role was to be a shipping! She has no qualities that should make her such a popular and widely respected character.

Not surprised about Hinata, most folks seem to be okay with her more than anything. I honestly expected for Shikamaru to be #1 though since I don't know anyone who has problem with him, you can usually find someone who'll complain about Hinata from time to time, but rarely Shikamaru who's gotten more shine than any of the rookies. And sadly Chouji is right where I expected him to be.

What you posted is Tsundere. Sakura is a Tsundere and Hinata is a Moe. Tsundere and Moe characters are on opposing sides of the spectrum. For whatever reason, Moes generally are more well-received by the male side of the fandom.

Shikamaru would've been #1 if it wasn't for Chapter 700 and "The Last", I think that's what blew Hinata's popularity way up.

Choji is (in general) the least favoured Character amongst them.
In almost every poll, Choji had the lowest votes amongst them all.
The fewest Fanart. Fewest cosplays.
And in general, The smallest fanbase.

In contrast, There's lots of Fanart for tenten, More cosplays and Fanfiction stories.

I did a lot of research, so I'm 99% sure that this list is right.
