Why didn't Madara take Sasuke Uchiha's eye during the War?

I mean, granted, he knew he'd end up two Rinnegan eventually, which obviously out-tiers Sasuke's EMS, but it took him a while to get that other eye, all time that he could have spent with an incredibly powerful eternal mangekyou sharingan, of which he could just swap out at the point he got his Rinnegan.. Dunno just seem's like he'd have been far more lethal, he knew Sasuke's eyes were impressive, and yet still just left him there to bleed out.

Yeah but when his own eyes aren't there and he goes so far as to announce how impressed he is with Sasuke's eyes, why not borrow em? I mean, even if it's just for the purpose of having an increased field of vision, he was just going around half blind. Not saying he needed the idea, just seems like he doesn't mind wasting his own time and making things far more complicated than need be.

Plot: There weren't several times he was revived and in need of an extra eye, the majority of the fight he was in Edo Tensei, plus it just seems a bit "in your face" to have a dead Uchiha on the ground with an EMS and to just walk by it squinting your other empty eye socket as you walk away.

Don't get me wrong though, I'd probably come on here posting "Why did he take Sasuke's eye?" if he had, he doesn't really need it, the man's a concentrated 5'10 ft walking apocalypse.

That is what im saying, he could've easily taken the eye after stabbing sasky and then pluck it out when he got back his original rinnegan.

1 Rinnegan + 1 EMS > 1 Rinnegan

Plot demanded sasky to somehow get revived and get 10x stronger by some random spirit dude after dying

kinda just backs my question up lawl, I completely forgot that moment because of how much Sasuke did not care about anything he was saying because Rinnegan Power oooop.

plot obviously. madara could have taken his eyes after he killed him but that would basically be the end of the series and the "good" guys have to win. if sauces plot shield wasn't stronger than madaras he would have ended things right then and there by taking his eyes and leaving his body to bleed from both the holes where his eyes were and the stab wound in his chest

Confidence and arrogance blinded him to the thought of needing anything else after becoming a juubi jinchuuriki. In madara's eyes hashirama was his only threat, and since he was gone everyone else was either a nuisance or plaything. Even against gai, he didn't seem to care much. Obito's betrayal didn't phase him too much either. Madara had started believing he had won, and all the pieces were just falling.
