Yet Gai has shown feats WAY more badass than anything Sakura ever dreamed of.

People compare her to those two because she is A. A main character just as Naruto and Sasuke are, and B. She made it her OWN GOAL to catch up to them and be on par with them. The fact that she failed to reach this impossible goal she set for herself is what makes people hate her, not the fact that she's weak, but the fact that she gave herself an impossible standard and never lived up to it despite all the big talk.

So it would be better if she did nothing? She saw multiple times what Kyuubi could do, what Sharingan could do - there's no way she believed she could surpass someone with the most OP KKG in NV or someone utilizing Kyuubi's powers. But she still did her best and definitely did catch up to BASE team 7.

Yes, it would. She gave herself an impossible goal and never accomplished it. Her goal was to be on par with them, yet that never happened. And no, she's not on par with base Naruto or Sasuke. And even, for argument's sake, let's say she is, that's still irrelevant because her goal was to be equal to them.

Another reason people hate her is that she still didn''t surpass Tsunade. she was unable to save Shikamaru while Tsunade did it with ease, and it was Tsunade who managed to create an artificial arm for Naruto using her medic skills, not Sakura. It was Tsunade who helped fix lee's heavily damaged body. Tsunade has ther ability to control the nervous system using her medical ninjutsu knowledge, Sakura cannot.

She hasn't surpassed Tsunade as a medic at all.

People typically knock on her for her "uselessness."

Comparative to the mains, Sakura has basically two fights she does something notable in.

Ino was half spent as a cat fight.

Sasori she unfortunately couldn't do much other than serve as a doll, but she did make a smart feint as well as have an antidote.


If Sakura had kept contributing like she did in the Kazekage rescue arc she'd have been far better off.


But for someone from a nobody clan she is very strong and will only get stronger with age a her medical skill will only get more experience.

Just to clear things up - I'm far from being a giant Sakura fan. But it's really pathetic when people hate on her just because she's not on the level of characters who became like gods of NV.

Compared to characters with similar 'background' (base level - no power-ups, KKG or stuff), she became quite a shinobi.

As has been just said:
She pales in comparison to Gai, who is equally a "nobody" background-wise.
And Lee was able to play pinball with Gaara, who scared Sakura to almost soil herself (joking).
So much for Sakura-fapping here, lol.

Pretty much:

- Become the best medic in the entire manga in current generation.
- Figured out the entirety of Kamui Intangibility that allowed Kakashi to even devise a plan to work around Obito's defenses.
- Prepared an antidote for which Sasori himself requires a recipe. That's not be stating, but Sasori himself. Thus, saving Kankaro and strengthening the political ties between the two villages. She also battled with Chiyo to take Sasori down that praised her medic skills not once, not twice, but thrice in the same fight.
- Saw through Zetsu's guise which no one else in the entire platoon did. Saving countless Medics, and by extension thousands in the war.
- Healed thousands with Tsunade via her perfect chakra control by summoning 10% Katsuya.
- Learned all techniques without any prior clan affiliations or special allotment of powers.

I dislike her character, but I will give the credit where it is due.

Not to mention she saved the main character of the manga and landed a hit on the most powerful being in the verse. See Hinata fans? Those are called feats.

Good thread, i'm still indifferent towards her character, but she certainly deserves credit.

Sakura was ready to die for her beloved one as well-Sasuke in the Gaara fight when she put herself between the two to prevent Gaara from killing Sasuke. and another time when she put herself in between Chiyo and Sasori's sword to protect her. She can be self sacrificial as well at times even for those who she barely got to know.

Say what you want, but for a girl with no KKG, Bijuu, special clan traits/genetic heritage and no free power-ups, she became kinda strong.

Great medic, neat in CQC, natural talent for Genjutsu, enormous strength, good summon, remarkable evasion skills and pretty good overall stats.

People hate her for being inferior to Sasuke/Naruto, but the same people completely forget that Sakura never had Sharingan, Kyuubi or enormous Uzumaki chakra reserves. She achieved everything on her own.

No, ppl hate her bc she's a ****ing ***** and annoying and has no self respect and lack of mental development when it comes to Sauce and has so much f*cking mouth even though she needs to be saved every 10 seconds.

No one disputes that she got stronger and is a splendid medic.

They problem is that personality of hers.

You don't see other characters who are weaker than Nads and Sauce getting this much hate. The problem isn't power level or kkg.

Kishimoto stated through Kakashi that Sakura was a Genjutsu type. Even if that side of her wasn't really developed throughout the series, it's a manga fact she had such natural talent.
