Their servers have been getting trashed the last few years. This isn't just a recent problem with sony. My issue is that it keeps happening and they seemingly don't give a shit over and over. Sure after the first big hack they apologized for allowing people's credit info to be exposed. But they gave less shits, after that.
Hackers just expose weak systems that's all, when the film studio got hacked more movies than just the interview got leaked before their release. Sony is a massive company with it's hands in almost every part of technology yet they can't even protect their networks. It's a disgrace, I'm not gonna continue to support them just because I have been if they start getting lazy.
I don't believe it's due to lazyness.
Just no matter how many layers of security a company has, a targeted attack isn't the easiest to stop.
With a group of hackers all going at it,they can bring any company they choose to their knees.
Which no doubt there's other companies that's been hacked and don't even know about it. Almost anyone can learn how to hack in to a server, etc and can gain money for doing it.
Now a group hackers can also choose to misinform the public by stating that it was easy or a door was wide open but that's one of their goals to drive costumers away from the company,to hurt sales.
Also there's a possibility a few employees were knowingly helping hackers to get in.
From what I heard.
I'm not upset at Sony at all though. Just at the fact that hackers makes a living by getting paid to steal.
