Kushimaru's Mission

"Kushimaru has been following his next target while following his ANBU duties. He finally caught up with the target on his Bingo Book in an old rocky bridge crossing. The terrain was a very mountainous area along with a spread out forest, having the surroundings bathed by a lake. In front of his target laid a large waterfall that blocked his escape, long range away from him. The waterfall was 30m high and 20m away from Kushimaru himself. Behind Kushimaru was an old rocky road. The very same road that had been used up until now to trail his target. The bridge itself is crafted in the shape of half a dome, having both Kushimaru and his target standing on either end of it, roughly 3 meters high from the water. The center of the bridge would be 5 meters high so their view would be slightly obscured, also the bridge is 5m wide. The lake stretches out 25m to either side of the bridge, and is 20m deep."

Yoruichi turned around, the waterfall was dead end. She knew she was being followed, ever get that feeling? well it was there and she didn't like it - she started to walk back over the bridge, looking around warily. She smirked though, she found it exciting that someone would take their time to follow her, her face went serious again, but being killed wasn't on her bucket-list. She continued to walk across the bridge until she reached the very height of it.

Yoruichi turned around, the waterfall was dead end. She knew she was being followed, ever get that feeling? well it was there and she didn't like it - she started to walk back over the bridge, looking around warily. She smirked though, she found it exciting that someone would take their time to follow her, her face went serious again, but being killed wasn't on her bucket-list. She continued to walk across the bridge until she reached the very height of it.

Kushimaru noticed the target walking back towards him, he got very cautious as he began to scout the area around him.

Kushimaru began to focus his chakra into the lake beneath him and his target. Suddenly, all the water molecules began to rise out of the lake in a very spread out manner, creating a thick mist of cold misty water vapor. You're coming with me. Kushimaru said in a very cold manner. As the mist spread out throughout the surrounding area, Kushimaru reached into his pouch with his left hand and grabbed three senbon that were held in between his fingers. He then performed a lateral flip onto the side of the bridge whilst also releasing the senbon directly forward. Due to the thick mist, Kushimaru could no longer see his target, and so he aimed at the last location that he was in. The Senbon were spread out evenly so that one would head directly forward and pierce the target somewhere around the chest area while the other two were angled to the sides should the target try to escape. In the concealment of the mist, Kushimaru uses his chakra and releases it through the soles of his feet so that he lands horizontally on the side of the bridge, quickly making his way under the first structural opening beneath.

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

She suddenly twisted her body so that it faced left and the Senbon just about passed by her whilst the other two went passed either side of her.

"Are you afraid Shinobi hiding in the mist?" Yoruichi's eyes shifted from left to right and vice-versa, she slowly stepped backwards back down the bridge.

Suddenly there was a hidden mist around her, she stood with her legs apart now and her arms at the ready. Anything could happen now, she couldn't see that far in front of h... Senbon! She suddenly twisted her body so that it faced left and the Senbon just about passed by her whilst the other two went passed either side of her.

"Are you afraid Shinobi hiding in the mist?" Yoruichi's eyes shifted from left to right and vice-versa, she slowly stepped backwards back down the bridge.

As he sneakily made his way through the underside of the bridge, Kushimaru heard the women's calm voice asking him a question. This more or less indicated that his earlier assault had failed in striking. Kushimaru took note of that, and knew that a straight forward approach with senbon would not be as easy to do. As he heard the target speak, Kushimaru stood completely upside down beneath the bridge's surface. He then reached into his ninja ouch with his left hand and grabbed a kunai that had an explosive tag attached to it. In the same motion as drawing the kunai, he throws it to his right side (Which really, is his left because he is upside down.) The kunai is aimed to land in the lake to the side of them, causing a large explosion that sends water flying everywhere in order to draw his target's attention.

Immediately as he threw the kunai, Kushimaru chained both his hands together in the form of the Ram hand seal as he then projected his voice outwards.

Afraid? You should be the one to be afraid.

Kushimaru had then projected his voice towards the back area of his target, attempting to both draw her attention as well as confuse her within the dark depths of the misty front as the watery explosion turned into a small tropical storm with small raining droplets of water.

Description: Forming the needed hand seal Ram, a shinobi can project his voice to a different area to hide their location and the number of allies at their side. It is an excellent complement to stealth tactics.

Taking advantage of all the wild noises surrounding the area around them, Kushimaru withdrew his Nuibari blade with his right hand, pointing his long blade's tip towards the water. As he did all of this, he focused chakra throughout his body in order to muffle any sound. As he did all of this, he quickly made his way around the bridge and back to it's surface, getting closer to the target's spot that she was seen. Much to his surprise, the target was no longer there. With that, Kushimaru continued to move quickly and sneakily through the mist. It was then that he vaguely saw her shadow straight ahead. After noticing her, he silently leaped forward, landing in a very low stance to the left side of her. In that same landing motion, Kushimaru thrusted his Nuibari blade upwards and aimed to skewer through her target's left rib cage, piercing through her lung, and having the blade exit out of the target's right shoulder, skewering any organs in between all of that.

Description: Muon Satsujin Jutsu, the ability to commit a silent homicide, is a technique to dispatch your foe with no warning. Your quick speed and skills will instantly kill them before they can provide a defense. Best tactic is when used with Hidden Mist jutsu. The technique works by having the user focus his chakra and his complete attention on moving fluidly, rapidly but muffling any sound he may make while moving as well as his presence, etc. It doesn't suppress his chakra or hides it but it can make the opponent virtually undetected if he manages to get on the opponents blind spot.

She then heard a voice behind her and spun around quickly, nothing wwas coming, she couldn't tell... wait, not nothing was coming. There.

She spun around, her head flicking round first, the large amount of hair and mask, pointed blade coming to strike her from below. Yoruichi caught the blade with her left hand just under the point and pulls it up pointing it away from the both. Whilst this happened Yoruichi had her right hand go for a Kunai and she spun it in her hand, outstretching it to meet the Swordsman's neck.

"Surprised? You can't sneak up on me Shinobi. Who sent you?"

Yoruichi had in fact did a summoning ritual earlier, within the stones of the bridge small slits had been made and the tiny tendrils of Acrothoracica Barnacles stuck out - this was all over the bridge, under each nook on the side, anywhere where there was visible stone on the bridge. Some of them even stretched off onto the rock just before the Waterfall, all this would be very hard to see in the mist and the tiny slits can't be felt underfoot. She waited for the Ninja's reply.

(Kuchiyose : Bānakuru-wan) - Summoning : Barnacle Bay

The user can either do the normal summoning method or bite their thumb, wipe it on the summoning tattoo and then slam the ground. These are Acrothoracica type barnacles and they are summoned into the ground where they burrow into it, creating thousands of little slits in the earth all up to the max of Mid-Range all around the user. This summon uses its tendrils by sticking them out of their burrowed homes and anything that brushes passed they sense, sending the information back to the contract signer(s) of the disturbance in that area, their tendrils can be damaged but they usually retreat into their burrows if anything damaging starts to spread across the ground (like fire) and when it has dispersed they reappear. These barnacles disallow the opponent from using any jutsu using chakra that come from the ground up to A-Rank in their vicinity because they now have complete control of the earth stopping any chakra from above the surface.

- Can only be Summoned Once
- Lasts 4 turns on the battlefield.
- If the Opponent uses an S-Rank Earth Jutsu from the ground it is weakened to an A-Rank.

Unknown to her, his Sewing Needle blade, was in fact not an actual needle, but a very thin long sword with an edge. As the target swipes their hand out in order to throw off the sword from her vicinity, her palm is slit open and blood splatters on Kushimaru's mask. Using the motion of his blade being knocked away, Kushimaru plants his left foot on the ground and crouches slightly while rotating his body clockwise. As his body spins, Kushimaru outstretches his right leg and aims to deliver a powerful rear spinning kick that hits the target's lower legs, knocking them backwards if it connects.

She lets go of the blade as her opponent is kicked away and lands with her back to the assassin again, though once she lands she turns her head around to face him.

Unable to react fast enough, Kushimaru is sent flying backwards as the side of his mask is hit with a sweeping kick. Due to the hard and strong nature of the ANBU mask, it would be still be intact after the hit. Kushimaru adjusts his body as he stands back up, having his body clouded by the heavy mist, unable to be see any longer. He simply replies to his foe's question as it is asked.

Kushimaru would time his technique with the end of his sentence as well as thrust and release his nuibari blade forward, aiming to pierce directly through his foe's chest area.

After thrusting his Nuibari blade, Kushimaru could only hear a sudden shift as his target's feet grinded against the surface of the bridge in order to perform the flip. Although, due to the mist, Kushimaru was not quite certain what had happened, only that his attack had been dodged somehow in the depths of his mist. He quickly pulls back on his wire which in turn causes his blade to come back towards him. He quickly grabs it and pierces it into the ground in front of him so that he may chain together a few hand seals, releasing his chakra out into the sky in the process. Soon after that, rain clouds begin to form as Kushimaru hears his target's sandals slapping against the rocky surface of the bridge. As his rain began to bath the entire terrain, Kushimaru was unable to feel his target's chakra source. He began to analyze the situation and cross out the possibilities. The user could have used a technique that removes the ability to be sensed, created a cover, or even gone under water. Kushimaru began to piece together the events that had happened and he knew a technique was not used, at least not a noticeable one as no noise was produced. A watery escape was also not possible since no splash was heard either. Having already heard his target running on the surface of the bridge to then be complete silent could also possibly mean that they may have hid underneath the arcs of the bridge.

(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

Just in case his target had used a technique to conceal himself, Kushimaru decided to not take any chances and quickly performed more hand seals, causing even more rain to fall on the battle field. After thrusting his Nuibari blade, Kushimaru could only hear a sudden shift as his target's feet grinded against the surface of the bridge in order to perform the flip. Although, due to the mist, Kushimaru was not quite certain what had happened, only that his attack had been dodged somehow in the depths of his mist. He quickly pulls back on his wire which in turn causes his blade to come back towards him. He quickly grabs it and pierces it into the ground in front of him so that he may chain together a few hand seals, releasing his chakra out into the sky in the process. Soon after that, rain clouds begin to form as Kushimaru hears his target's sandals slapping against the rocky surface of the bridge. As his rain began to bath the entire terrain, Kushimaru was unable to feel his target's chakra source. He began to analyze the situation and cross out the possibilities. The user could have used a technique that removes the ability to be sensed, created a cover, or even gone under water. Kushimaru began to piece together the events that had happened and he knew a technique was not used, at least not a noticeable one as no noise was produced. A watery escape was also not possible since no splash was heard either. Having already heard his target running on the surface of the bridge to then be complete silent could also possibly mean that they may have hid underneath the arcs of the bridge.

In that same motion, Kushimaru focuses chakra around his body in order to muffle sound as he reaches with his free right hand for a kunai and holds it in reverse grip. In combination with his technique "activation" Kushimaru leaps towards the right side of the bridge, his target's left side the very same side that his target's hand had been injured. She had stopped running, but the wind still blew, and very storngly, the Nuibari blade would be blown off trajectory and thrown to the side and the mist would be carried away. The Water had strong waves, the wind cycled around, continuously blowing in the area.

It seems you were far too busy hiding beneath the bridge to notice the clones I had previously created within the water.

It was then that four haze clones were created behind his target, two were running directly from mid range behind the target and straight towards her while the other two climbed from either side of the bridge making it appear as though the came from the lake. All clones aim to converge on the target and feint kicks, punches and even kunai stabs and slashes, using them as a distraction.

Description: Haze clone technique is like the regular clone technique in creating intangible clones, although these clones will let the enemy go through them without being dispelled or released. Doujutsu can see through these clones as unlike Shadow Clones, they are intangible and lack any form of chakra circulatory system, chakra flow, etc; they are simple images made by chakra. They cannot do harm to any enemy but can be used to communicate and distract the enemies. The clones can be created anywhere within the users sensory field.

Immediately afterwards, Kushimaru takes advantage of his target's attention most likely being drawn and performs the tiger hand seal to then create an orb of water above him. From the orb three sharp whips erupt outwards and head towards the target. Two of the whips come from either side while another one comes directly forward. The final strike would be the side whips piercing through the side as the frontal one goes directly through the chest area. Kushimaru continues to manipulate the whips and extend their reach just in case his opponent tries to change locations and escape, being completely adaptable to the situation. As the orb is created he begins to sprint forward while having his blade already strapped to his back.

You might want to cover that wound from earlier, otherwise you will loose too much blood.

Description: Haze clone technique is like the regular clone technique in creating intangible clones, although these clones will let the enemy go through them without being dispelled or released. Doujutsu can see through these clones as unlike Shadow Clones, they are intangible and lack any form of chakra circulatory system, chakra flow, etc; they are simple images made by chakra. They cannot do harm to any enemy but can be used to communicate and distract the enemies. The clones can be created anywhere within the users sensory field.

Immediately afterwards, Kushimaru takes advantage of his target's attention most likely being drawn and performs the tiger hand seal to then create an orb of water above him. From the orb three sharp whips erupt outwards and head towards the target. Two of the whips come from either side while another one comes directly forward. The final strike would be the side whips piercing through the side as the frontal one goes directly through the chest area. Kushimaru continues to manipulate the whips and extend their reach just in case his opponent tries to change locations and escape, being completely adaptable to the situation. As the orb is created he begins to sprint forward while having his blade already strapped to his back.

Description: For this technique the practitioner will form two hand seals and then slowly assume the basic stance of the Chop-Hanging Fist style. This activates the illusion portion of the technique. The opponent will see the user slowly lower their body, leaving brief after images. Once the stance has been reached the opponent sees the user disappear in a swirl of wind. In reality the user will have been focusing large amounts of chakra to their legs and will burst forwards once the illusion activates, closing distance at high speeds and unleashes a barrage of eight palms strikes in the blink of an eye, never stopping their forwards movement. The strikes and the damage from them will break the opponent out of the genjutsu (should they still be in it) by the time of which the user will have moves past them by about three meters.
