Remember you don't need to "awaken your byakugan". For the Hyuuga and Ao, it is automatically learned. You have to follow the restrictions for it though based on your rank, your time with the bio, and your training in Jyuuken (Gentle Fist). The only thing that really needs to be learned with Hyuuga bios is Jyuuken (Gentle Fist). This isn't the Sharingan lol. xD

It looks okay though remove anything in the Specialty section. That is only for approved training that you have finished. Though your characters style is mostly close combat based, you might change your mind later and choose mid or long range instead. Anyways, train hard and finish that Jyuuken training so you can use his Gentle Fist techniques. They are quite awesome. I don't know if you can make customs for Jyuuken but if you can, work on making some for him to help expand your arsenal.

Not really. Once you have an approved Hyuuga bio you are able to use the byakugan. Gentle Fist only affects the passive ability to activate it.
