Today's episode had me thinking, just before Madara stabbed Sasuke he said "...Or even my own child."

Is Sasuke Madara's great grandchild?

Is that a requirement for the transmigration of Indra's chakra? What do you think?

P.S.: I know he was quoting Hashirama but the way and timing made me wonder.

That makes sense I guess since if he had children he wouldn't leave them behind and even if he did, he would seek his own children rather than Obito.

That's false, Sasuke may not be Madara's direct descendant but they share the same blood that turns their eyes red when they experience hatred, the Uchiha blood.

My guess is Madara meant it in that sense, Sasuke was his "Uchiha child" and he wasn't happy stabbing him.

Well, Madara was the clan's leader and his brother was dead, it would make sense for his son to take over (heretical system similar to Hyuugas). And he could have very well gotten a chick pregnant before being consumed by curse of hatred :/ :l
