Why do people hate the war arc so much?

I never really understood that. Well aside from the asspulls it was pretty decent. Sure its not as good as the hebi or pain arc but it wasn't necessarily terrible.

People don't like it because a lot of asspulls happened. That just takes away from how the story should really be, instead of favoring whoever or whatever got the asspulling

I love the first half of it, but than they just dragged it on too long and than rushed it in the battle which every fan wanted to see (Naruto VS Sasuke)

-The Alliance didn't really know what they were fighting against. I mean, they hardly knew what Infinite Tsukuyomi was.
-Pacing was terrible.

First the edo tensin nonsense, naruto vs zetsu's, naruto vs jin, kages vs madara, obito vs naruto&Bee, itachi vs kabuto, then obito and madara vs naruto, then obito and madara vs SA, Then naruto and sasuke vs obito and ect ect ect

Too many Asspulls.

Minato sage mode, Sakura Byakugou, Naruto and sauke sage power ups, The sage himself coming back, The whole ootoosuki clan nonsense.

Not to mention the Shinobi alliance were more of a liability then any real help in the second half of the war. The only thing that stopped the war arc from being complete trash was Madara but even that wasn't enough from making the whole thing terrible really.

I thought it was pretty ****in dope, and the anime is doing it some serious justice. It felt kinda funny at times, but I can't say I hated it, or even disliked it, when I stayed up til 3 in the morning every week just to see what happened next.

Yeah I wish they would had more of other Shinobis fighting and show that the next generation is taken over some more. There was too much of Naruto fighting in war that other characters needed to have. I wish they would have killed Obito right away or after giving the beast to Naruto.

It took Naruto, Bee, Kakashi, Gai, Sasuke, Itachi and Orochimaru to really win the war for them

I agree those were kinda asspulls, aside from Sakura. I wasn't surprised at all, she's been portrayed as a medical nin prodigy for quite a while.

Yeah, I was expecting K12 to get a lot of development, but only Team 10 got some.
