"karin knocked the buddha statue"

Big chunk of members here are saying karin knocked/destroyed *the buddha statue :|


She only destroyed few hands

Which is very good for her but it isn't knocking the statue .

^this scan is many chapters after karin attack
The statue is still well and the part karin destroyed is not even 1/4 of the buddha. (also it looks still fine even after the part hiruzen destroyed and the hands The raikage destroyed)

The wooden statue only get knocked down by madara chibaku tensei .

She pretty much took out all the arms aside from a few.

Obviously she did not take down the statue however she did the most damage up to that point.

The top of fingers are shaped like a cube . When you look at it from the back like the scan you posted you can see that . I am 100% sure the buddha hands does not look like that because of karin Lol.

She destroyed 3 or 4 arms and few fingers in the front but the back (the scan you posted) is not effected because this is how it hands look like.

Hm I guess but still the back of it looks like the 'palms are uneven kinda making it look like they were destroyed here and there. I am guessing since its a smaller version, all the arms cant come out. But still Karin did her job and broke through the defense.
