Sakura really should have died after getting stabbed by Madara's staff since it negates ninjutsu.

It was an asspull. Already explained in your thread.

The power up was atrociously developed. The only foreshadowing that this ability had was that Sakura studied under Tsunade. That's literally it.

The ass pull isn't Sakura's ability to work and create the seal. The ass pull is the fact she isn't even hinted to have it until she conveniently needs it. She waited until half a war was over to complete this thing, and it's completed when Team 7 finally happens to reunite. It's odd she's managing to store chakra during a war when she and the rest of the world should be going all out.

It would have been like Naruto pulling out sage mode with no training or suggestion that he'd trained for it previous to him using it.

It would have been better for her to have mastered this before the war starts, or if she is to get it then, at least have several hints about her progression....


It's an ass pull in convenient timing. It's and ass pull in the revelation that she's been working on it.

It is not an ass pull that she had the potential to master the technique.
