Close-range isn't applicable to characters with the power of Senjutsu, especially Rikudou Senjutsu, who can sense and react to teleportations easily. Either way, I already agreed he did it due to intangibility.

Sure, everything you said is logical and has point, but I doubt Kishi would go as far to prove what you just said.

yes, Kakashi is awesome and super Shinobi(no mocking), but I just don't see him being among gods as it neither fits him and neither make sense how Manga instantly makes him almost God, so how should we call it, hmm ?
Hello guys, I just checked few threads about Kaguya on this and other forums and What I saw make me chuckle how blind or in denial some people can be.
The most arguable is scene where Kakashi used Kamui Raikiri to supposedly "blitz Kaguya"
Let me throw a bit of light what really hapened instead of so called "Kakashi's blitz":

^^ left middle panel shows Kaguya shooting ash bones at PS in which Kakashi is while both charge at each other at full speed. Also this panel can shows us how big distance was between them. Now to move on:

^^ bottom right panel shows Kakashi already charging Kamui raikiri in hand while falling down with speed marks/lines drawn around(it means Kakashi fall down towards her as PS's flying speed which must be no joke).
Then bottom middle panel shows Kaguya surprised/shocked while speed lines are still visible around her meaning that she was moving towards Kakashi at her full speed until this panel.
They were very close to each other so that how Kakashi did it.
Kaguya's own speed + intangibility + element of surprise + momentum of falling down(with speed of his PS flying ) = clever tactic to land attack on Kaguya.
However I won't lie that Kakashi didn't help in any form, as him and it includes Obito's as well Space Time ability was crucial to corner Kaguya, however without Naruto and Sasuke.
DMS Kakashi with all Obito's abilities and Rikudou chakra would be stomped so hard that it is not even funny.
Also it was not just Kakashi, IT WAS ALSO OBITO. and before you say Hagoromo gave Rikudou chakra to Naruto and Sasuke also, well he did, but just chakra, while in Kakashi's case it was shown Obito fully entered Kakashi's body via chakra. You can call it rather fusion of kakashi and Obito.
In the next panel we can clearly see that Kaguya wasn't even moving. The speed lines around Kaguyas face are only there to portray Kaguyas surprise better ,like in the following scan around kakashis face
But she was, you have no proof to state otherwise as they were clearly speed lines/marks, so hate it or accept it.
Also even if I consider it, then still Kakashi and Kaguya were already moving so fast that by each second the distance greatly decreased, so I don't see anything impressive on godly level that it that Kakashi could pierce her with Kamui Raikiri covering such small distance while using PS's flying speed(which he preserved) + gravity force and adding element of surprise Kaguya was fooled simple as that.
