what i don't understand about Hinata.

Reclaiming her rightful postion as Head Of The Hyūga. Why didn't Kishi make that one of her major motivating factors or apart of her ambition, goals or dreams?

Side note: I'm not coming for Hinata on a negative tip, I do beilve she's proven herself to be a capable Hyūga.

Because he can't develop women. Because being motivated or development surrounding a man is "good" development. Not bashing just saying. It's not just her either....it's like all of the females are developed bad. :/

I think that this entire base can come to that consensus! **shoulder shrugg**

she just wanted the respect not the position

She definitely earned that so too-shay.

I'm not so sure about that. I've seen a lot of people on this base that would try to argue that these characters are developed while bashing another character in the process.

She wanted respect from her father and to become a stronger Hyuuga, I don't think she was ever interested in being the leader of her clan
It would have developed her character abit more if that was one of her motives. But as Kishi said he isn't great with the women.
Her motive to be acknowledged from others, to the ones she love in particular (Naruto, her dad, Hanabi, Neji) is similiar to Naruto's motive to be acknowledged by everyone.

If given the right amount of screen time. She could have been given a lot of development in her family area. Which is why she interests me. So I would welcome this sort of developement, Sure.

I think Hinata misunderstand and that acknwlodgement as love... Naruto can distinguish between love and motivation\ambition. That's why Naruto is one of the best developed characters.
